A student experience in KITSW college

Likes

I like about college clubs which makes us learn about event management

Dislikes

I don’t like the syllabus which is heavy when compared to other colleges
I don’t like the tutorial system which is not suitable for btech colleges we should learn independently
Girls to boys ratio is 2:3, boys are more than girls

Placement Experience:

I am studying now final year btech, placements have decreased a lot when compared to other colleges and previous year history. Till now Cse branch got visited 10 companies and other branches branches got 3-4 companies, since I am non Cse i didn't get many opportunities

I like the campus it was very beautiful and neat
I like the faculty and there teaching skills
I like the infrastructure with all facilities

Dislikes

There are some issues with the parking place
Sometimes there will be chemical issue at lab
There is no not much cultural activities

I really wanted to study this course because to know everything and we are the future for all up coming generations and it's very enjoying to know about each diseases,there effects and we have 2 semesters in a year

Kakatiya University - Ups and downs

Likes

I like our college infrastructure it was a large campus and got a big ground, good Library and good environment
Our teachers were good at guidance. They have helped us in many aspects.
The Campus life is pretty much better as you'll be participating in many aspects.

Dislikes

Hostel food can be improved. Because its not that good.
Some more clubs and societies cane be formed.
It would be better if they start providing internships and campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically the curriculum will make you understand what you're learning but doesn't make you industry ready. They can provide us internships and campus placements. It is meant to be 6 months per semester but they only provide 4 months per semester. The exam paper correction is stricter in this University.

Lab exams which we write in lab and internals externals exams also there yearly 2 semesters will be held and practical exams also held exams will came suddenly faculties have some negligence during exams syllabus completion

Faculty is good and friendly esay to ask doubts
Library and lab activities are there in this collage
Games also there weekly and pharma weeks are also provided

Dislikes

Collage is too long to the city and it takes so time
They are taking fines like attendence fee per every mid
Syllabus completion is slow and not taking it serious

After Bipc I choose this b pharmacy to being a professional student and want to be a pharmacist In this collage faculty also providing ppt classes is easy to understand the concept and units and library standards are very good. Overall in exams time we face difficulty because there is no time to prepare and suddenly we know the exam information it leads to difficulty and hard

Inside kakatiya university: What Every Student Should Know

Likes

The teaching staff takes good care of students. They maintain friendly relationship
The semester paper is very easy and there is no chance of backlogs tension
The class timings are appropriate and convient to the students

Dislikes

Less faculty for the students as per student faculty ratio
The infrastructure is undeveloped and poor roads
The university is in deep forest less availability of resources for students

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year the placement drive has begun. The companies like vedanta and singareni collieries company limited will approach the college and make an interview. The highest package of the university is 8lpa. The avg is 2.75lpa. the percentage of the students should be above 75%. My plan after btech is mtech and PhD for better opportunity.

I liked the environment and the greenery
I liker the friends i have made in this college
I like my like especially when it rains it looks beautiful

Dislikes

Not giving enough enjoyment for students like fest etc
Taking out all the fest due to a minor incidents
Some teachers who think only they are right

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have took this course because i can go both in software and govt jobs. They just give us some training for our placement drives. The improvements i want in our clg is that they give some enjoyment for the students not only exams and training but also some njoyment which the clg students want in their clg life.

Likes

Things I liked in my college is quality of education there are very good professors in our college most of the professors are PhD holders
There is Ncc and Nss department in our college and lot of district level and state level competition are helded

Dislikes

There is no any kind of skill development courses are the college it is almost old system of reading and writing exams no internships

Coming to my course as I did bcom honours why I choosed this because in these course we can have exposure of various subjects like finance auditing economics marketing etc the teaching methods are good coming to real time exposure you will get academic knowledge but all you need to work upon another skills to improve your self

From the 7 semister the students is eligible for placement of college their are not. Of companies are visited to our college for placements The average package is 20000 per month the average percentage of students for eligibility of placements is 80% after this I want to join in a big company

According to my friends from Kakatiya University, their CSE branch is better than other branches. Due to the flexibility of the branch, you can easily learn through self-study.

You can learn about CSE online from various resources. You will have enough time to explore the subjects that you like. The placement opportunities offered at KU are average. The median CTC offered is around 3-4 LPA.

Overall, KU is a decent option for pursuing a degree in CSE, if you are willing to learn on your own.
