The college primarily admits students based on merit through an efficient process, with commendable support from admission branch managers. It has multiple admission branches both in Guwahati and outside Assam, serving diverse departments. The faculty mainly consists of experienced Ph.D. holders who are friendly, dedicated, and supportive, focusing on student understanding and critical thinking. They also assist with internships, training, and job interview preparations. As a private institution, the college is ranked among India's top 10 private universities and is the leading one in the North East.

Despite its expensive fee structure, it provides free education for Below Poverty Line (BPL) students. The college hosts an annual job fair featuring 50 to 100 companies or hospitals. Internship opportunities are available for medical and social work students, with direct placements possible at the college's hospital and NGO. Scholarships are mostly for top-performing students, and loan facilities are available. Special provisions exempt BPL students from tuition, exam, and admission fees.

Fees increase annually by 10,000 to 20,000, with the first two semesters costing 30,000 each, the third at 40,000, and subsequent ones at 70,000 each. An administrative fee of 25,000 is charged during admission along with a refundable security fee of 10,000. The course fee starts at 70,000, subject to semester increases.
