IIT Patna Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 6th and 7th semesters, they get eligible for placements through PPOS companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, amazon, jaguar, etc highest package is about 1.8 cr and the average is about 18lpa placement percentage is about 80 percent overall.

Since I was interested in pursuing Computer Science. All faculties are qualified but some of them lack teaching skills. The exams were tough and there was no gap between subsequent exams. You should practice your mid-sem and end-sem before only

I chose this course because my interest was towards the Computer Science and Engineering field and according to my rank, this branch was most suitable for me. All faculty and staff members are very cooperative and all are good. Her student ratio is 1:4.

I have chosen electronics and communication engineering due to interest in it. Ratio of faculty to student is 1:20. Every professor is highly qualified. They teach very well. Some of them are very strict too. But you should prepare for midsem and end sem very carefully.

I chose mechanical engineering because I have an interest in physics and this was the best branch that I could get from my rank the student and faculty ratio is approx 1:15 teaching method is good but can be improved in some manner.

Placements are 100% each and every student gets a job from my college, Campus placement was good. A student eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Lots of companies, including Oracle, Sprinklr, Atlassian, Media.net, Aarti Industries, Samsung, Texas Instrument, Adobe, Jaguar Land Rover, EXL, etc.s are visiting this college.

In seventh semester students become eligible for campus placement in month of july.there are many companies which recruit students.like Google, Adobe, Facebook ,Bharat petroleum and etc.and recently one senior from metallurgy branch has got 1.5 crore package.almost 95percent student get placed.

Placements are good here. In 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Numerous multinational companies visit here some being Google, Adobe, Amazon, Cisco, etc. Highest placement offer is made by google for abot 90 lakhs, average is 23 lakhs.More than 90 percentage of students have been placed.Placements are still going on so exact values cannot be predicted.

The campus placement here is quite good it is improving in the upcoming years. In my branch last year There was a placement of 88 percent and with a 22 lakh median package and a is improving itself for the coming year.

After 3rd year, students become eligible for placements. companies like GOOGLE, AMAZON, ADOBE, etc. visit IITP. Last year around 160 companies visited with more than 400 offers made. The average package of college is 23 LPA.
