My college experience

Likes

My college is excellent in academics all profesors and teachers provide good environment for study they are very helpful
Note - you will not face any ragging in my college.the anti-ragging committe are very strict regarding this issues
Medicine is very learning subject it improves my professionalism at a grea extent

Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:

Meeicne is the subject which bring interest in me to study hard although medicine is itself a tough subject it enhance your knowledge to a great extent studying the human body in dissection hall.holding the organ.the frequency of exam is tough i thing it is should give preparation leave more because syllabus are rough

How to make doctors

Likes

College has sufficient lecture hall so , no problem of lecture hall for study
College has two big auditorium with capacity of 1000 seat each with comfortable seats
College has best practicle lab there is no lack of practice as a medical student

Dislikes

College doesn't have well structured ground for sports
College doesn't have big hostel for our living
In some lecture hall a.c.doesnt work properly so in summer there is problem in study

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college offers opportunities for students to gain practical experience and apply their knowledge in real life situation. Labs are well equipped and teachers are excellaent and the college has functional hospital that helps in real experience.

Patient load, teachers , campus, it is situated in the city area.

Dislikes

Hygiene of the mess is so disturbed. Water facility is also not good.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 years of course , there will be one year internship in which you will learn all the lessons and skills of a doctor practically and then you will be posted in any phc and you have to complete 2 year rural service bond

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty uses ppt in classes , we get exposure to clinical cases frequently as hospital building is in the campus. So, curriculum really help us to face the real life application of knowledge. Difficulty of Exams are somewhere between moderate to high and it prepares us well for University examination.

First thing i liked about my College is eco friendly environment and good campus
Second good thing about my College is there infrastructure,designs of College buildings
Third good thing about my College is uniform design of clinical duty and community duty

Dislikes

First thing i dislike on my College is their faculty
Second bad thing about my College is the principals arrogant behaviour towards students
Third bad thing is the mess food which is very bad

Curriculum design are not upto mark according to me. Because they mainly focuses on covering syllabus rather than giving knowledge to students. After nursing there are many scope in this field like para nursing, lab technician, community nurse, forensic nurse etc.

Good amount of teaching faculties and study methods
The pressure to study makes you wanna study
Festive celebration and other celebrations to relieve stress

Dislikes

The pressure in mbbs is too much and the faculties are too strict
The college takes kinda pride in failing students in order to make them tough
Fests are not organized by college, we have to find joy in small festivals itself

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course provide you a practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge. Its can make an improvement in its theoretical part. We have terminal exams in a duration of 3-4 months and theres a gap of atleaset 21 days between university and pre university exam

Mbbs is a vast course consisting of 19 subjects in a duration of 4.5 years + 1 year of internship making it a hectic course . The exposure to the clinical practices and the world of diseases and medicine is exceptional

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a difficult course. All the exams from 1st year to final year are tough. With new cbme curriculum the exams are becoming more practical which is better for the students and the upcoming doctors but there is still many more aspects of the exams and the course to improve in the coming years. I think the frequency of the exams are more and more emphasis should be on objective questions rather than being subjective.

Life at GMC Jagdalpur

Likes

The professors are good at teaching and the environment is very studious. Extra curriculum activities should be encouraged
Life is too green here that is campus is full of greenery and fresh air .
All the books are available in library and helping seniors

Dislikes

No air conditioned lecture theatres , no mic in LTs
The campus doesn’t have its own playground and it’s not safe to roam around at night
The campus is small , NO GYM , its far away from main city

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a doctor is a Nobel profession , it's a reputed college in Chattisgarh and I got it after too much hustle . Preparing for NEET UG was not that easy but it's all going to worth when uh gonna hold that scalpel in your hand in dissection hall . The teaching methods are good but infrastructure can be improved
