I'm very excited in our annual fest that we called vyom because in this we make lots of fun in dancing singing games like indoor and outdoor both.
Thinks i liked it the faculty will take care of students very well that they will give their full support for the students
I took the hostel form and filled all the form so it was and quik.the fees is affordable spur the facilities they are availing so it was good

Dislikes

Campus is not as good as expected but the experience is good and not any fest from the college books are provided by collage from the library facilities are enough for students but there are no sports activity to perform
No fests are here organised facilities are very poor and sad sports encouragement is also very poor and no need no social groups only nss,clubs and student portals there just waste of time to do all those things
Really the campus life is worst expect class rooms we can't see anything,in 2024 we can't see engineering colleges with outs 5 branches and 10 blocks ,but here we can only have limited students and limited epiqment

The college is infrastructure wise very very nice, it's having a good environment for studies.
It is having a great library which contains every kind of books, a very decent environment also there.
This college is having best faculties for Mechanical Engineering streams, this college is well known for Mechanical engineering branch also.

Dislikes

Some of the hostel facilities which I don't liked much, but over all it is good.
Sports and games facilities are not much here, and he college fest.
Not much campus comes for the core sector like mechanical and civil.

Placement Experience:

Overall the placement cell is good enough to place upto average 600000 package yearly. From the 7th semester you can eligible for the campus, make sure that all the backlogs of yours are to be cleared. Companies like TATA, Wipro, Micro Turner, Adani, TCS, Capegimini etc Average offers upto 6-12 lac/annum Highest package gone 16 lac/annum 40% students are getting placed every year My plans were getting placed into power sector, and currently I'm in Jindal Power Limited.

All about columbia institute of pharmacy

1st thing I liked is there are many machinery as compared to other colleges
In our college (columbia institute of pharmacy) there are numbers of chemical present and in pure form
Faculty are helpful for studies and it's fun to learn with them

Dislikes

Infrastructure should be more better as compared to land they own infrastructure should be nice
At rainy season it's difficult to drive inside the college as there are many pot holes which hold the water into them
We require gate pass (or permission) to leave the college (cmon guys we are adults now please we don't require permission to leave college)

Placement Experience:

From 8 semester students are eligible for campus placement I didn't remember the companies visited but it's local Chhattisgarh company who visit in our college and made 10-15 offers (in the students of 70-80) Average package is 150000-250000 There is no need of percentage for campus placement because which ever company comes for placement take general test of students My plans after degree is to make my own pharmaceutical company and further more plans are there

THE QUALITY OF FACULTY AND THE INDEPTH KNOWLEDGE SHARED BY THEM IS TOP CLASS. YOU WILL NEVER FEEL ISOLATED BECAUSE OF LACK OF YOUR UNDERSTANDING. A PERSONAL ATTENTION IS GIVEN TO EACH AND EVERY ONE.
THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF LABS AND MODERN EQUIPMENTS MAKE IT A MUST VISIT COLLEGE. APART FROM BEING AICTE APPROVED, INSTITUTE IS ALSO NAAC A CREDITED AND IN BAND 0F 151-300 IN NIRF RANKINGS 2023.
THE OVERALL CURRICULUM DESIGNED FOR OVERALL DEVELOPMENT OF A STUDENT IS WHAT INTERESTED ME THE MOST. THERE IS UNIVERSITY GAMES, ANNUAL FESTS AND OTHER SEMINARS, CULTURAL EVENTS BEING ORGANISED MAKES IT AONE OF THE TOPMOST COLLEGE OF THE REGION.

THERE ARE FEW AND FAR IN BETWEEN BUT IF I HAVE TO THEN MAYBE THE STRICT TIMINGS OF CLASS WHICH WAS SOMETIMES HECTIC BUT AGAIN IT DEPENDS ON THE INDIVIDUALS.
APART FROM THAT MAYBE THE FEW HOLIDAYS COULD BE A DISADVANTAGE BUT IT CANNOT BE A MAJOR DRAWBACK.
APART FROM THE ABOVE TWO MENTIONED, I DON'T SEE ANY MAJOR DRAWBACK IN THIS INSTITUITION.

Placement Experience:

THE PALCEMENTS OF THE COLLEGE IS PROBABLY THE BEST IN CENTRAL INDIA IF NOT THE WHOLE COUNTRY. STUDENTS OF 7TH SEMESTER OR LAST YEAR IN OTHER STREAMS BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR THE CAMPUS PLACEMENTS. LAST YEAR RECORD OF PLACEMENT WAS 68% WITH MORE THAN 150 COMPANIES VISITING THE CAMPUS.HIGHEST PACKAGE BAGGED BEING 13 LPA AND AVERAGE PACKAGE BEING 5.7 LPA.THE ESTEEMED RECRUITERS BEING COGNIZANT, TCS, AMAZON, ACCENTURE,DHL. IBM AND MANY OTHER PUBLIC SECTOR COMPANIES AS WELL LIKE TATA STEEL AND JSW. OVER THE YEARS THE PERCENTAGE OF STUDENTS BEING PLACED HAS ONLY GROWN UP. THE ASTONISHING FACT IS THAT LAST YEAR A PACKAGE OF 30 LAKH WAS BEING ALSO OFFERED. THIS ONLY PROVES THE SCALE OF SKILLS SETS THAT EXISTS IN THE COLLEGE. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERENED I WOULD LIKE TOPREPARE FOR CIVIL SERVICES ALONG WITH MY JOB BECAUSE I AM A FIRM BELIEVER OF HELPING A NATION GROW AND ME IN A GOVT. SERVICE COULD PROVIDE ME THAT OPPORTUNITY. BUT NOT BEFORE I HAVE GAINED SOME EXPOSURE IN PRIVATE SECTOR.

College Review To Columbia Engineering College

Moderately Strict Behaviour Of Teaching Staff Makes the college Environment Student friendly. Management specially for fresher students is very cooperative and supportive. Faculties even spoon feed students.

Dislikes

After 1st Year of College The Faculty And Staff get loose resulting laziness and irresponsible students. The college infrastructure is well and good renovation are made time to time.
There are no competition or events held for students skill growth and neither any skill development programs are held. Teachers often leave the laboratory classes empty resulting less attendance of students. Social engagement programs are held.
College faculties often change and move to new colleges after gaining certain experience which results inexperienced teachers teaching the students and gain experience from the students itself. Placement is very poor here average package is 2.5 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Students who are studying in 7th semester are eligible for college placements. Specifically including company name is not a good practice. Highest package from this college was of rupees 10L/Year Placement rate is very less in this college overall 3 4 students in an year are selected. Skill development is to be done by own by the students I am preparing for gate after the exams and I'll sit for off campus.

College library i like most because it contains all the necessary books and available anytime
College various clubs which provide information and also entertainment and refreshments
College cantine where our all group chill and relax

College late published result due to some issues

Placement Experience:

College provide internships and placement of average salary of 3.5 lpa it has better opportunity other than other colleges who claim to give placement to the students but can't help them in terms of placement

Sincere ,helpful,caring ,polite teachers
Practical labs are very good in terms of everything
Good infrastructure as well as well managed

Dislikes

Attendance is 75 percent which feels like school
Girls boys ratio 1:5 which is not good in terms of equality

Placement Experience:

My college gives a lot of placement offers One can apply for placements after 6th semester. 60 to 70 percentage of got placement. Average package is 350000 Lakh per anum Highest package is 1400000 lakh per anum My plans are to crack combined defence services exam

If you want academic and have weak financial background, Best of luck for your decision

Campus Life is average, infrastructure is decent , Library is good ,canteen is decent
There is not so much of pressure about course curriculum and you can get time for your self if you can manage

Dislikes

Canteen should be improved, there should be stationary
Sports should be improved facilities are poor in sports field
Wifi limit should be improved and its limited to 700 mb per day , electrical lab should be improved

Placement Experience:

Placements are average as it is of third tier, if not placements is offered you can start your start up and iyre college helps for that and aur super senior are doing there start ups in our college itself, college has provided separate building for them , you can go for open campus , third and fourth year student are eligible for placements , I don't know the companies visited beacu i am in second year but they are quite good in number, average pakage was around 300000 annually, percentage of students geting placements are average , I want to go for job placement after my degree.

The Best Decision of my Life

The Staff is ver helpful and good in nature. The have immense knowledge
The college canteen is a good place for breaks after the class
Our Director is a wonderful man. He has such a wonderful character

Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:

Their Is Ct in every 1-2 months. Two Ct's are held in every semester. Exams are easy. The exam marking scheme is 100 for each subject. Each subject has a practical exam held separately after the exam.

The pros and cons of bhilai institute of tech

Likes

The labs consist of high end devices And the non compulsory attendance is beneficial if you are doing internship

Dislikes

The teachers don’t know how to teach properly and boost their ego by flaunting their achievement (not applicable for every teacher)
There are no extracurricular activity the collage only promotes studying and nothing else

Placement Experience:

Placements were really nice before covid and so was the placement i of every 3 student git placed but now after cobid the placement scheme has changed and many companies stopped coming to our college which has led to less students getting placed

Our classes are regular and on the predefined fixed time
Labs and workshops are very good here we have all necessary equipments
In our college teachers are very supportive and kind

Dislikes

85 persentage attendance is mandatory for all students
I think,Here in our college sports department is not good enough

Placement Experience:

From 6th or 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement this year the highest package is 700000 and average is 250000 . The persentage of students getting placements is I think approximately 60 persentage but I don't have much idea about this.
