The Master of Social Work (MSW) is a two-year, 72-credit Open and Distance Learning (ODL) postgraduate degree programme offered by the School of Social Work (SOSW) at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. The programme provides professional education and training in social work, covering core social work methods, social development, research, case work, group work, community organisation, HIV/AIDS, disaster management, and international social work. The total programme fee is Rs. 18,500 per year (Rs. 37,000 for the full programme), and the programme is offered in both English and Hindi medium through the ODL mode.
