IIT Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

EMBA is offered to gain global competitiveness in Indian industry. Executive professionals use this course as a ladder to solve different competitive problems and make various strategy to understand the process of technology. Candidates have been eligible for the criteria of admission if he/she had Bachelor degree in Engineering/Technology/Science stream. Bachelor in statistics, computer application, economics and CA/ ICWAI can also apply. Minimum six CGPA is mandatory for the program.

I was quite familiar with this institution as my father is a BTech graduate from IIT Delhi but I was a aspirant of management field and while I got to learn about MBA programme of IIT Delhi I decided to do it here only. IIT Delhi was 8th in NIRF's 2020 rankings for the MBA programme and the college has been given recognition as an institution of national importance. The admission procedure for MBA at IIT Delhi is not much different as the rounds of interview,GD and shortlisting are there.

IIT Delhi is close to my hometown and is ranked no. 2. It offers best faculty in Chemical engineering. IIT Bombay was rejected because of inability of getting a good branch there. IIT Delhi's campus is small and beautiful and is located at the center of city. And of course, it's IIT DELHI. Why would you not go there?

From 3rd year students become eligible to apply for jobs and From 7th semester, companies come for placements via placement cell. In 2020, There were almost 1000 offers were made to students and almost all of my batchmates got placed in various National and multinational companies. Some of them applied for MBA, some for Higher studies, and some for Startups.

At the end of the 6th sem students apply for placements 456+ companies visited and around 1000 offers were made. The highest package is 1.4 crore and the average is around 16 lakhs 85% students got placed while left went for higher studies, my plan is to get a job and settle.

This course emphasizes on providing a strong grounding in the fundamentals of Engineering Mechanics along with the tools which address the needs of emerging areas like - Biomechanics, Nanomechanics etc. HSC result and Delhi University's entrance test(JEE Advanced) are considered as the main criteria for admisson.

GOOD : IIT Delhi is one the top 3 IITs in India. It has got great exposure, excellent faculty and great amount of research and startup facilities too. BAD : It takes very good JEE Advanced rank to take admission in IIT Delhi. Once we enter into IITD, there is a lot of competition as all the topmost students of India get admitted here.I preferred IITD over other IITs because it is one of the oldest and top IITs in India. It has got great reputation. I always wanted to go into research and academia. So Engineering Physics at IITD was the perfect course for me. IITs are the ultimate aim for any engineering aspirant of India but only the deserving and top most candidates get to study here. As I am a resident of Delhi, I wanted to choose IIT Delhi only. The institute is among the most famous names in the prestigious group and holds National Importance. Admissions to the institute are done only through the JOSAA counselling round in which JEE advance score in noted.

IIT Delhi is arguably the most famous IIT'S among the 20+ institutes of this group due to its establishment in the capital. Having numerous international accreditations and status of National Importance Institution are some major additions in the great name of this college. I applied to pursue my BTech here and the selections were made as per national level JOSAA counselling with respect to applicants score in the Joint Entrance Examination

Here about 85% of students got campus selection. At left students goes for their higher education. Some students start their own business and some follow their other passion. We know that an engineer does everything without engineering. In IIT Delhi many world famous companies come and they selected higher and brilliant mind of students and they ready to payment max for this.
