Students become eligible for campus placements after the 7th semester. many reputed companies visited our college during placements. Highest package offered was 10 lakhs per annum by Xyz Company. 30 students out of 60 used to get placed during campus placements. After getting a degree il to go to that very same company where I got selected.

We become eligible for placement in the 7th semester. Many companies visit. Like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, IVP everyone offered roles. The highest was IVP 7.5 LPA. The average package is 3.2-3.5 LPA. I don't know the exact percentage but many of them get placed finally by the 8th semester. I have plans for higher education.

From the 5th and 6th semester, students become eligible for Placement. Many companies come to interview students and select the best ones such as Flipkart, Wipro, Max, Bosch and many more. Selection of students is not only based on percentage but how smart you are.

I am interested in Biotechnology, hence decided to pursue it. Goa University was the first college that came to my mind. The students and the faculty coordinate well with each other, which makes things easier. The faculty is well qualified for their respective teaching subjects, which helps students to clear their concepts. Small tests are conducted regularly for students to be in rhythm with the class. Exams are always on time and well organized.

After 6th-semester students became eligible for campus placement. Many companies visited Like HDFC, PRUDENTIAL LIFE, AXIS BANK, IDBI ETC. There is 50% of students getting placement after getting placement. My plan after getting a degree was to go for higher studies.

From semesters 6 and 10 students are eligible for placements. Companies such as taj, oberoi etc, vist for placements offering jobs to many students. Highest package offered by taj was 6 lakh per annum which average was 3 lakhs per annum. Almost 79% students get placements. My plans after this degree is to start my very own hotel.

Since, I was working as a project assistant in National Institute of Oceanography (NIO), Goa in 2013. I always wanted to register a PhD under my guide Dr. Pawan Dewangan (Principal scientist), who is in NIO. I qualified GATE in 2015 with a decent score and I was allowed to register for a PhD in Marine science department of Goa University. I decided to register in Goa University primarily because it was near to the place where I was working, also it is one of the finest and reputed universities in Goa. The campus is beautiful and well maintained and located near several beaches. Apart from this the administrative process is very smooth unlike other state universities. I never faced any difficulty to carry out the formalities, the concerned people are very helping and kind. The marine science department produces several PhD's each year and faculties are also reputed.

For the placement of the final year student such that semester 5 pass out students are eligible with a minimum 60% aggregate, there are various regional as well as domestic companies that visit the placement fair.

Most companies come to interview the final year or the 6-semester students but other 2nd year Students or the 3-4th semester can go and take part in the interviews. Mostly banks and hotels visit the college such as Taj, Radisson, and banks such as Yes Bank, Axis Bank come for interviews
