MSU Baroda Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After 3rd-semester students become eligible for campus placement. There is a very well-known company visited on campus-like ICICI, L&T, TCS, HDFC, and many more. The highest package offer to students was 10.2 lakh and average packages were around 6 lakh per annum. Around more than 90% of students get placement by campus.After degree, I want to join the banking sector.

In the Final semester students from BCom, BCom Hons and BBA together appear for the placement process in which a student with nice communication skills and a decent academic background can grab a decent placement offer. Our average placement is 2-4 LPA. I am in my final year and I am not planning for placement I will do a masters in business administration.

From the 3rd semester, we are eligible for the placement. there are many companies visited like SBI icici reliance and many big companies come with really good placement.80 % of students get placed by campus interview.

A Few companies Regularly visit for Placement, internship, and Grand project. overall statistics are decent from the ROI point of view. Faculty Members here is Marinating good placement record except 2021 due to COVID-19. Every year around 70% to 80% are almost placed from campus interviews with the average salary package varies around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. the highest package varies around 8 LPA to 10 LPA. In our batch top recruiters are HDFC Ltd, ICICI Bank, TCS, Torrent Pharma, HDFC Bank, ICICI Prudential etc. Most of the company are , in general offers Marketing and its related profile with few offers HR related Profile. very Few company came here for core Finance and operation related Jobs. FMS-Baroda has one Group of Students and Teachers which called Placement committee which handle all activity regarding Placements. All placements are depend on alertness and dedication Team of Placement committee.

Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda was my dream college because it has a historical significance. It was first established in 1881 and in 1949 it became a university. The fee structure too is cheap for my course as well. For admissions, I applied online, filled the form, paid an amount of Rs 300 and submitted it along with my personal details. there are two ways to get admission. One is direct admission which is merit based depending on class 12 results and the other was sitting for the entrance test followed by the GD/PI. After being shortlisted, I then paid the admission fee and then I was ready to study in my dream university.

Campus is really good they provide all kind of extra curricular activities. It ranks 3rd in Gujarat. Faculty are really good looking. Talking particularly about my course which is b.com the class the overcrowded. student of any percentage can get the admission easily. The attendence is not a must there so many students who only appear during exam time .they do not assign any assignments. I personally would not recommend the college to anyone as studies are not well , placement are rare(even if yes they are not good enough).For the addmission purpose is online you need to fill the application and they will publish the date according to the percentage to come for the document verification after the you need to fill the fee and you will get the admission. The reason for preferring this college over others is that it has a lot of extra curricular activities to take part in like ncc, sports , theater ,music ,dance ,politics etc.

More than 80% of students get placed. The placement is inclined towards the marketing domain. There is a placecom committee, consist of students and faculty. They invite the different companies to the campus. Highlights in terms of company are TCS, Reliance, ICICI, HDFC, Torrent power etc. Average placement of the college is 5.75 LPA. For marketing it is 6 LPA. For HR, average is 4 LPA.

The students are eligible for placements during the final year of the degree, companies as TCS, Reliance Industries, Adani & so can be expected with a maximum package of 10-12 lakhs, the placement defers subject to academic year and efforts/performance of placement committee. There is a good pool of students who are left unplaced each year.

Placements are pretty decent as compared to the fees charged by the college. The average package being 4.5 LPA and the highest offered this year being 10LPA. The students are placed based on their potential and previous work experience.
