My overview about PIET

Likes

There are Iot lab, idea lab, robotics labs, and many other lab which is good about this collage.
There are sports facilities like cricket, basketball,kabbadi,vollyball, badminton etc
Teachers are concerned about the students and well behave.

Dislikes

Sometimes the wife connection become slow or did not connect.

Placement Experience:

The place of our collage is good. The average package offerd is 5-6 lakh per annume, and the higest package of the last year is 36 lpa from google. I also want to get placement to the MNCs in my final year. I want to get placed atleast 12-16 lpa.

College life and enjoyment in campus

Likes

First thing I like the most about my college is that it is quite affordable.
2nd thing is it's infrastructure that is marvelous.
3rd thing is the supportive nature of all the faculty members.

Dislikes

I disliked is practical knowledge is provided less compared to theoretical knowledge.
I disliked the girls to boys ratio that was 3:7 which is not satisfactory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum influenced me the most and the syllabus system everything is that I am interested in . The curriculum prepares me by enhancing my knowledge in my field with proper guidance of faculty so that I can excel my skills in the real world. I think more focus should be on practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge otherwise everything is best. Exams and tests were quite frequent,3 hours were given to complete each exam .Tests were taken thrice a month , sometimes twice and term exams were taken twice.

Likes

Teachers are very supportive and other staff is also very supportive
Good library with a lot of books available and proper table, chair, lights and fans available
Campus is clean and maintained, proper computer labs with atleast 4gb graphic card in each system

Dislikes

Well for now as of my first year i didn't find anything which is bad
For BCA classes, there is no AC available in class but there are fans and proper lights
Students should really depends on themselves instead of college

Placement Experience:

Well MLN college is part of Mukand Group so there is JMIT in Radour and TIMT in YNR so the placement campus is kind of combined for these colleges as students can enter in the placements drives of these colleges. MLN college also provides student to enter in placement drives in other colleges too like in MMDU Mullana, Ambala

Masters in Kurukshetra university

Likes

Kurukshetra University provides a very unique environment as they're very practical with their schedules , classes always held in time and the teaching method of the teachers is excellent you gonna love it the way they give efforts.
The hostels which are in university campus provides a very good healthcare system in case if you get ill otherwise they take cares very well.
University provides a central library which is very big and almost every type of book you need you can find there , and my department also provides books for study so we don't have to boy from outside market.

Dislikes

Although the rules are very good but some rules are very strict like you can't be in library after 7pm.
Sometimes Faculty miss the lectures without even informing the students.
Many times you can feel university focusing on fests and functions not on your studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum subject wise is very good and we can check this by ourselves like in my course MSC Chemistry we have to do the experiments and university provides a very good laboratory where we can do the experiments , university itself doing good in every perspective so don't need any type of improvement.

This college is but I don't like anything in this college

This college have heavy restrictions more then the schools.

There was not specific decision I just want to be an IT engineer so I just choose B.Tech in Information Technology and I like computer engineering I like code and problem-solving challenges thats why I choose B.Tech IT.

The college held various events and functions for the students and this is almost the affordable in comparison big universities like CU
The college campus is clean. Every room, lab, mess is cleaned on the Daily basis
Every year, a celebrity or singer is summoned by the college for fest

Dislikes

The college campus is like little small. maybe it needs to be bigger
The faculty is good but not satisfactory because they can't provide the practical knowledge
The college management needs to be better like they are not so structured

The curricilum of btech includes various subjects like apploed maths, computer programming, database management, Digital electronics, operating systems, physics, chemistry, physics, data strructure and algorithm, Basics of electronics

all teacher are friendly and educated and study are doing in high level
and the college canteen are very clean and food are very tasty
two to three parks in the college they have good look of the college

Dislikes

the teacher are sometime very strickly to the student
but no any dislike thing in the college.
the college are proper and location of college are also proper

The lab are really good if you can use them .

Dislikes

The campus size is small for a college .
The fine structure can be changed as you can get fined 5k for small things and even 25k for things like attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the curriculum is decent but can be changed a little as there are subjects non relevant to the stream .Also as the syallabus is old it can be improved a little bit .the difficulty of exams is also decen not so tough not so easy .

Kurukshetra University isn’t good in terms of academics. The results aren’t declared in time. The evaluation system isn’t good. The course curriculum isn’t up to date. Coursework usually includes subjects that aren’t related to the stream. The teaching approach followed by the university is theory-oriented. You won’t get much hands-on practical learning experience.
