PIET Reality.

Likes

Infrastructure, regular events , sports events .
Facilities, food availability, food variety.
Cooperative staff, cooperative seniors , land area .

Dislikes

Location , network issue , unplanned electricity cut
Staff has arrogant attitude in them which a student do not expect
Management doesn't hear our problems, lots of fines on small things

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good . I always wanted to go in IT sector . I research about this course and found that it it has a bright future and it is a charming course which has a high demand in future so career options are opened for us.

My college experience was enriched by several aspects that I truly cherished.
The professors were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, making learning engaging and inspiring.

Dislikes

Reflecting on my college experience, there were a few aspects that I found challenging or less enjoyable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i am a bright student and always wanted to do something for our society my teachers,elders suggested me to go in the IT field when i researched about the field i found my course B-Tech CSE (AIML) for futuristic and effective and developed my interest in it that's why i choosed the course .

Ground reality of PIET

Likes

Green environment and the senior staff loved the food variety and the rates
Water dispensers in all the buildings and regular food availability
Lots of canteens,netcafe, library and the cultural events

Dislikes

Teaching staff has so much wrong attitude
The rules are too strict likee we can not enjoy our college life
Small to small things have a huge fine on them and no relaxation on it

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is quite good like we have teachers who have som knowledge about there subject but the course have so much of unwanted subject in it sector like MPW,EGD,BIO in the very 1 and 2 sem and the 2 sem periods is very low like 4 months including exams

BEST CHOICE FOR THE STUDENTS LIVING IN PANIPAT AND WANT TO STUDY IN PANIPAT

Likes

I liked the faculty a lot , teachers like shachie mam, shivani mam are really supportive
I liked the campus, it has good environment, good libraries, neat and clean environment
I liked the opportunities that are available in piet , as a lot of events are being organised in BBA department

Dislikes

The attendance system of 75% is very strict and not really good
You can’t leave college even if your lectures are free and this makes feels like you are studying in a school
The teachers don’t let you enter even if you are 1 minute late for the class and that is really pathetic thing

Course Curriculum Overview:

The only reason people vome in piet is because it is near to panipat and in this region there are no other good colleges available this was also my reason why i chose piet over other colleges of panipat/ samalkha

Students feel bit hectic as there would be both classes and labs happening simultaneously

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. TCS, amazon, meta etc around 80 + offers were made last year. 78% of students get placed during placements last year I will pursue a career in ethical hacking.

I like the faculty members of college. And corridors are very clean

Dislikes

I don't like lift system because that only for faculty members not for students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like this course because I want to know about the organisms which is harmful for our health and useful for us. That's why I choose microbiology for gaining more knowledge about microorganisms. Exams timings also good in college and overall system .

Campus life at DSC, karnal

Likes

The college is cheap and affordable with great faculty members and a good library.
The faculty members are post graduates with clearance in UGC-NET as the bare minimum requirement.
The location of the college is also very good as it’s on the local bus stand

Dislikes

The infrastructure is good but with the passage of time it becoming more and more small and cramped
The placement are local and not from any high ranked company or institution
The college trips are rare which is a bad thing as trips helps to explore new things and makes great memories.

Placement Experience:

The placement happens every year in the college. But the employers are generally local and the placements are not very exciting. The most placements that happens are in commerce and science fields by the banks and regional scientific institutions. Other employers also offers placements.

Library is the peaceful and wel suitable to concentrate.
The fee structure is very low and affordable for students.
The curricular activities organised in our college is the skillful and beneficial.

Dislikes

Labs are not well maintained and equipments are not properly working.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from 6 semester. Many companies like Wipro,CMR energy,Maruti Suzuki etc. visits to the campus and hier students as their needs. Highest package is 9 lakh and average package is 4-5 LPA.

Uiet Kuk, An overall Decent Package provided by your Government

Likes

Smaller Class Strength with multiple sections and plenty of classrooms
University Environment and its closeness to nature, with all required ammentities in the University Market itself.
Hostel Environment and cleanliness. Hostels for B.tech students vary from 1-Seater,2-seater,3-seater rooms. I personally didn't face any issue with the hostel or On Campus Facilities.

Dislikes

Semesters/Curriculum Start and Finish At late than pre-decided curriculum(For example December Examinations were conducted in January and Examinations to be held in May were taken in mid June
Not so enjoyable Campus Life,Uiet (University Department for Engineering) has its own building which is not very big or Modern looking. So you'll have to Unwillingly Travel from Your residence to UIET and back.
UIET does not hold a good track record when it comes to placement. Not many desirable Companies visit the Campus.

Placement Experience:

I personally feel that The Placements for Cream layer branches like CS and AI&ML are satisfactory. But for the lower branches, Off campus recruiters would have more to offer than the Recruiters that visit the college. Average package for all branches would somewhat be ~6 Lakhs, which is not very impressive. Most of the students aspire to get placed in PSUs so they end up preparing for Gate exam.

UIET KUK (A ROLLERCOASTER OF HAPPINESS)

Likes

This university has a huge campus with lots of things to explore and do inside the university campus. Sports facilities are also very good
The nearby area is also good and have tourist attractions places.

Dislikes

Semester 1 results came a little late than usual
The exams date were also postponed 15 days further

Placement Experience:

The placement records are good and students can appear for as many interviews even after getting selected in one. Companies like AMD, Wipro, Airtel, Infosys, TCS, and 30-40 more companies. Also, PSU also has placement drives in this college. Approx. all students get placed. and I will crack PSU and then be a full-fledged grade 1 officer.

Kurukshetra University isn’t good in terms of academics. The results aren’t declared in time. The evaluation system isn’t good. The course curriculum isn’t up to date. Coursework usually includes subjects that aren’t related to the stream. The teaching approach followed by the university is theory-oriented. You won’t get much hands-on practical learning experience.
