My Honest Review of My College Life and Academics

Likes

Faculty and Teaching Quility : most faculity are well qualified and knowledgeable .
Infrastructure and campus : campas has good classrooms, free wi-fi, clean surroundings and library facilities.
Campus Life & Peer Interaction : Campus environment safe and deciplined.

Dislikes

High Fee Structure : The current fee structure of overall is high as compared to similar colleges.
Placement : Placement support exixt, but core-company placement are limited for some courses.
limited Extra Curricular : sports facilities, student-led acticvities are limited .

Internships Opportunities:

GET INTERNSHIP WITH LOCAL IT FIRMS , STARTUPS, NGOs, and small Companies IN ROLES AS devops , software enginner, software developer, android app developer, marketing roles , technical roles etc STIPENDS range from 5000 to 10000 per month Projects internship mainly involve live projects , such as website development, data analysis repots, market research, documentation, minor software and research projects

The overall experience of the bahra university is moderate

Likes

The lush green mountains and the environment the university sits in the laps of the nature and is surrounded by the green mountains
The study environment here is very cheerful and fun with less stress
The connections and the relations we can build here

Dislikes

The food quality in hostels is bad and sometimes unhygienic
The lesser size of the ground and less playing space
The placements here is average and package is low

The internship here is given on the basis of the total cpa and gpa's. Their are various companies which offers various opportunities for the students and provides in campus and off campus placements. The projects and the good cv resume may land a good job for the students and the placement cell here helps the students in anyway possible for their future.

The campus is awesome and the green environment is also very mesmerizing.
The teaching staff is also very supportive and makes it easy for the students to study there
I got many new best friends there that made my college life awesome and I am very happy woth the university

Dislikes

The distance from my home to the college is a concern for me

Placement Experience:

Students eligible in 4 semester to take participate the interviews. I had given 1-2 interviews in the campus and I was selected in the GD round. The highest package that was given was of Rs 30 lakh to the student

Bahra University , Shimla hills ,BU ( Various memories between the belt of hills and several uncountable laughs)

Likes

The college campus was situated in a hilly area which provides such a calm and peaceful environment to focus on a studies
Infrastructure was also well made and clean
Whole the faculty of different departments and college faculties was well behaved

Dislikes

Poor network signals or connections sometimes when we're inside the campus
Poor co-ordination of the management sometimes
Cafes and library areas was not upto the mark Cafeterias inside the campus doesn't have good Cooking skills which I think especially

Internships Opportunities:

Internships was offered by several companies to students especially for technical students. The stipend depend on the company type starting ranges between 20000/m Sometimes may be the internships was un-paid as well

I find the view from my university very beautiful.
I like the environment here very much . and here's the greenry it is very beautiful

Dislikes

there is problem of light here a little more party problem in lighting

My university has contacts in many companies and The students of our senior year used to tell us that internship is very good and we get to learn a lot from it but I will get a chance now and I will definitely work with you.

Likes

The Infrastucture of university is amazing .
The staff is good and supportive and help to improve our skill alot.
The weather and the surrounded supports to be focused in studies.

Internships Opportunities:

companies like agro fram, amazon, zeepto , and other private companies offer an intership of 6 month for college. The projects like app devleped and algoeritm designes help to take a better pacakge . Internship helps to gain the experience .

Our college and its good and bad things

Likes

I liked the climate of the college that is good whole the year , it is good for the study for the students and good climate is necessary for the students to study
I also liked the scholarship system in this college because many other college i think to study in had not any scholarships thats why many poor peaple can't afford the colleges fees and can't able to study thats why this college is good because it pr
The infrastructure of the university is good the class rooms are large and audible the benches are of good quality and comfortable for students and the different departments having different different blocks of building

Dislikes

The things that i don't like is the teachers are not very skilled because some of the teachers are at same time pursuing their master's degree or phd in nearby university that is jaypee university
The students are not hard working all the students in my class are not skilled in anything only one to two students are good in something like coding etc
Placements are not on very good packages and the company's are also very less which were coming in this university

Placement Experience:

There is campus placement in our university the students in 6th or 7th semester are eligible for the campus placement the offer were made of 3 lakh and above per annum by the companies last time the highest package is of 14 lakh per annum and the average package is of 4 lakh per annum , the cgpa of student is above than 6 are eligible to sit in placement. My plan after getting the degree is to take placement in campus or try for the out of campus placement

The thing which I like at bahra university is that there is well and good atmosphere for studying
There is a well maintained library also where students can study
There is well developed infrastructure and there is also good hostel facility

Dislikes

Mess food not good for hostel students but we can eat that
There is not a perfect schedule for the classes means classes not run daily
There is not smart boards in this classroom for students

Internships Opportunities:

The companies which visited the bahra university are HDFC bank , hexaware technologies and Justdial and many more companies .Yus college provide interships opportunities also to the students,from second year they provide interships opportunities toh the students

Likes

there is well managed classes and rooms or labs for study
library is well managed there is all books of your course
faculty and teachers are helpfull to student

Dislikes

campus is small and there is no ground to play
in labs computers are damaged and non-cooperative staff
teachers doesn't teach topics and take test of it

Internships Opportunities:

club mahindra , google, microsoft, infoysus offered internships under 15000 project and outcomes to clarify the tasks are number games and in bank details adding project companies requires skills and well

Close To Perfect college than can be improved

Close To nature,Helping Staff,Overall Good Environment
Teachers are well qualified and i like to take each and every class, i enjoyed every class and. equal oppurtunity is given to every student to ask doubts,clear their concepts.
The main factor i liked that the campus have ample amount of space for self study,dedicated library is there..

Dislikes

Security staff is not helpful at all, they treat students like third class people,but w're paying them they are not polite and they didn't even do anything,bunch of crooks
campus wifi is not working from the starting,they boasted abotu wifi in the start but that was a lame claim,wifi didn't work in this campus for a single day.
campus is bitt to odd looking because the last time they painted it was like 2-3 years back,paint became faded with time,campus roads needs some serious repairs.

Internships Opportunities:

Mainly some locals come here for internship for the role of juniordev., but students majorly focus on freelancing rather than going for college internships because they pay less. For internships we have to build projects based on our skills and real lime problems and then they analyse them and take interviews for that particular role.
