NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Clear jee main exam 1 for enterance in engineering course and jee main exam 2 for addmission in architecture course.i got addmission by clearing jee main exam 2.after clearing cut off merit list is based and you are selected according to merit list.

The food in mess at KBH is really not good at all, they don't even wash the plates properly , in lunch we get rice only everyday. Even hostel sometimes don't have water. So this is not expected from such a national institute.

The college is overall very good.College is equipped with all the basic facilities for the students.There is a big playground.The college also includes a bank and a primary health centre which has three ambulance.

I am in NIT Hamirpur and this is really nice college. Seniors are helping. Teaching faculty is also nice. The hostel infrastructure is also good. You may face some problems in adjusting but when you start liking it you would not wamt to leave it and go home

No other college can match the awesomeness level of this NIT. Moreover its ranked number 2 in most beautiful college. Its a remote place a bit but every hill station of Himachal Pradesh is in reach from here. Can't say about the food in other mess but here in First year hostel mess the food is just like home made. There is no problem of ragging. The faculty here is experienced and awesome.

You will enjoy your four/five years of college here bcs campus is so beautiful that it is rated india's second most beautiful campus.The only negative point i faced is food here and lack of facilities in the city hamirpur.

College is good. But reachibility is little hectic. People from plain area can have motion sickness. The place is very beautiful but little aside from city life. You can't expect dominos , KFC, big malls here

I am satisfied with the college infrastructure and working. The college supports us in the best possible way. The make sure student is provided with help as soon as possible and no delays are there so that student time is not wasted.

Some seniors are very helpful. However, the alumni network is not so strong. There is not any satisfactory management of the alumni network.RK reviews

The infrastructure and campus environment is one of the best. Located in Himachal Pradesh, the campus is filled with trees all around and cool breeze will always blow your mind. The lecture hall is located almost at the center of campus. However, nearest railway station and airport is very far from college. And that is the reason why some reputed companies do not come here for placements. Nevertheless, it is still great for making memories.
