University of Jammu Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I choose this course as it helps you to build you career in lot of sector like in banking . The curriculum helps me in lot of aspects I can do many things with this and can pursue further academics. The are that are needed to be improved is the infrastructure of the campus so that students will like to come to college and they will love to study. The exams are taken often but they sometimes hurries a lot, like they did in our 5th and 6th semester, there is only 3mnths gap as we need almost 6mnths to cover the syallabus.

I've chosen chemistry because I had interest in it. I feel now I did right to choose chemistry. Teachers of chemistry department makes easy to make us understood the reactions and everything . The only thing they should improve is that they should give us time for preparation. After 3 months of start of new sem they start taking exams which makes us difficult to pass.

The curriculum frame work is quite good to look at but its only written down in book, most of those things are not Practically done here. New staff or new innovations are required in the curriculum framework.

The new edition of NEP has added some value added courses which help a pupil for real world problem solving , talking about exam duration , they are conducted twice a semester, known as internal assessment which are conducted by college staff itself and external exams which are end sem and conducted by University. The difficulty level is medium and on and off study during semester is enough for passing marks

Measurement and in educational technology we feel difficulty but we consult with our teachers and then we solve it . The curriculum prepares us for real -world in ever espect we learn the things in education the social chnge and the others . The course is fully well planned according to me we lear things one by one At the tym of exams we have the vacation even we feel not ok we can even visit college and teacher for classs

After completing the course and getting 75 percent marks overall them they can do research work for one year and then directly apply for NET exam and GRF without doing masters. This college provide placement to the BEd and MEd students

I choose B.A. and their faculty members were so good at their teaching. Philosophy and political science teachers are even too good at every aspects. Sociology needs some improvements. Exam timing were enough 3 hours

Course curriculum in terms of relevance was so good as it added my options of further academic pursuits.every subject in the course was relevant to eachother.The course was good so in my opinion they don't need to do any further improvement but yes teaching methods was slightly old i suggest them to try AI methods in teaching and go more digital which I think will help the students.for exam timings they know the students have to give six semesters so students needs the proper time to prepare.

The placement process is based on the performnce of the student in overall course . The package is Depends on the Merit and skill of the student on overall couse with all skills in his field as well overall personality .

after completing the 4th sem tghe college provide the placements who are elligeble for it .the average cgp applicable for placements is 6.1 and the average package provided by college is 300000 and the highest is 700000.the companies that provide placements are infosys ,wipro ,ibm and tcs
