University of Jammu Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Not many of you know, but Jammu university also provides campus placement. I also got placed through campus only. Right now I am working in ICICI Bank as a deputy manager, and I will say that I love my job. It's because of TBS only that I got this opportunity to start my career in such a reputed company.

Yes, the university provides campus placement to students and 3rd semester students are eligible for it. Even i also got placed in WATER HEALTH with the package of Rs 3.5 lakh. The highest package is of Rs 6 lakh during our batch.

I opted for this course because in my time period MBA programme was on the peak a person having an MBA degree not only gets a job with a great salary but also gets different respect in society. I wanted to work in the corporate sector, that's why I chose this course. There were 5 teachers and 35 students in my batch. The faculty of the University Of Jammu is very well-qualified and has many years of experience in the field of providing quality education.

From the 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like WIPRO, ITC, ICICI PRUDENTIAL, ICICI BANK , HDFC BANK etc visit our campus. The maximum package they offer was of Rs. 12 lakh and minimum package was of Rs. 4.5 lakh.

As mentioned earlier, TBS has strong industry collaborations with various elite corporate entities visiting here to offer campus placements to students. The students become eligible to sit for campus placements in Semester Third only. A good number of students receive placement offers making TBS the first choice of students who want to pursue an MBA in Jammu.

I applied for this course because I want to do a professional degree that will help me to get better careers opportunities and that will provide me knowledge about the dynamic environment of the corporate world and an MBA is the only degree that helped me. There are 60 student and for those 60students there 8 teachers in the dept. Teacher here are highly qualified and have done multiple degrees like mba , bba , phd,etc. The teaching method is simple and student can easily grasp the things taught by the teachers. Exam are timely taken and sometimes it's difficult to pass exam here.

From the beginning of the 3rd semester students become eligible for the campus placements and starts getting job offers from the companies like Axis, Shriram , Unilever, ITC, etc. to join their company just after the competion of course and gets an offer of rs. 4 lakh- 6lakh per annum from the comapnies depends upon the kind of job you have to do there. From my batch almost 705 of students got the opportunity to get the campus placements from the university's campus placement cell.

As soon as you'll complete your 2nd semester you'll get eligible for the campus placements. Recruiters from various companies like ICICI, ITC, Unilever, etc. visit the campus and provide job opportunities to the students and also offer them pay of 4 lakh-7 lakh annually. Approximately 75% of students get campus placements.

After the completion of 2nd-semester exams, the students become eligible for the campus placements and companies like HDFC, ICICI, Pepsi, etc. are the companies that visits the campus and provide internship opportunities to the students and offer them a salary of 4 lakh- 7 lakh per year and almost 55-60% of students get the campus placements.

Every student studying in the 3rd semester becomes eligible for campus placement TBS manages to place its approximately 50% students in the campus placements. A average package of 5 to 7 lakh per anum. Many companies like icici, hdfc, sriram group Pentagon etc visit for placement drive.
