University of Jammu Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Pre Campus placement starts at the beginning of the 3rd sem. Recruiters from these companies likE HDFC, ICICI, ITC, water health etc visited here for campus placement. The average salary package is 4 LPA to 10LPA.

They offer placements but the package is low, during my time most of the students got placed in HDFC bank and there are other brands as well like ITC, ICICI etc that come for placement here but again the package is not that great, the average package is 3-4 lac. however, students were asked to go for off campus placement as well. I myself got placed in HDFC from the university only and worked there for 2 years.

From last semester a student becomes eligible for campus placement. The most students of our college choose to opt for masters and not for the job. There are few companies like Kanwal, Shingaar etc who visited the campus for placement and around 20 to 30% students are placed through the campus placement. I remember one of our batchmate got a package of around 12lpa from the kanwal for the position of manager. Average package is around 3 to 4lpa. My plan was fix from very early to start my own venture. And After i completed the graduation within a year i started my own startup under the name of Meer Consultancy and my startup helps the people and firms to choose best alternative for the optimum utilisation of resources.

MBA is the course that provides your CV a good value and have a good market value also and it provides better career-building opportunities and better job opportunities. There are 40 students and 6 teachers All the faculty members in JU are Ph.D. degree holders and have multiple degrees also and are experienced teachers of their field and have a good knowledge of how to teach a student. Exam are timely taken and are quite easy to pass.

Mba will provide me with better career options and will give me diverse information about the market also. There are 6 teachers with over 50 students. The teaching method of most of the teachers is very good and the teacher here are PhD degree holders. Exams are timely taken here And it's a bit difficult to pass the exam here.

I always want to become an entrepreneur and MBA was the course that helps me to become the one as it helps me to improve my communication skills and provide me an early opportunity to boost up my career. There were 6 teachers for 40, student and the teaching method was good. The teacher here are Ph.D. degree holders Exam was timely taken in the university and it was easy to clear the exam here.

I have chosen the BA Arts course because I am an art student. And My graduation will complete within 3 years of period time. Exams are very difficult to pass but for some students, it is easy because we study regularly and attend regular classes in college that is why we don't think that exams are difficult to pass.

After the completion of 2 years, students are eligible for the on-campus placement in the miet college icici, hdfc is the compnies that come here highest package is 420k and the lowest is 300k last time there was 100% placement in our college I will work in mnc.

The students of the final semester are eligible for the college placement in good companies like Byjus, Flipkart, HDFC Bank, Bharti Axa, ICICI prudential, Amazon, on the 60%, I want to run my own business.

I choose this because I have a goal of becoming a civil servant that must need this qualification. The faculty includes almost 60 teachers for this course of about 400 students. All the faculty members are well qualified as well as well experienced. The term exams are held after every 6 months as it is a credit based choice system. You have passed the six semesters. One odd semester has descriptive paper and even has an objective type.
