Bangalore University Scholarship 2026: Amount, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

Scholarship name	Eligibility
Government of India Post-Metric Scholarships	Karnataka students belonging to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes whose parent’s annual income is less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lacs.
Minorities Scholarship	The candidates belonging to minorities (i.e., Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Anglo-Indians, Jains, etc.,) whose Parents’ Annual Income is less than INR 44,500 are eligible to apply for Encouragement Fund/ Fees reimbursement from Minorities Welfare Department (MWD) as per the norms of MWD.
Special Scholarships	Special Scholarships for Children of Government Employees/University Employees who die in harness, administered by the Director of Collegiate Education or the University as the case may be.
Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship	Single Girl Child who happens to be the only child or girl who is a twin daughter in the family is eligible to apply only through online mode.
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship	The scholarship is for meritorious students (1st to 5th Ranks) who come under the Below Poverty Line as defined by the Government of Karnataka. The scholarship amounts to INR 500 each per month for 10 months for each year, to each Department of Bangalore University.

Fees and Financial Aid:

It has Good infrastructure and reliable teacher,they help alott in doubts never hesitate to solve doubts. Placements are good I have got placement in google has data analyst with 8.2 Cgpa and we grow skills in those 3 years. Principle is very kind and humble person all teachers respect students they help in improving knowledge and we won't feel like we wasted fee. I was general and paid 2.8 lakh on all fee as per st and sc are paid 2.1 lakh with good hostel facilities. We have scholarship too from 25k to 60k.

Fees here don’t feel like just something you pay and forget it slowly becomes part of your learning journey In my case under management category the first year fee was around 1 point 4 lakhs which included tuition fees admission fees registration charges development fees and basic lab fees Along with that there was a caution deposit of around 10000 which is refundable at the end of the course In the second year the fee slightly increased to around 1 point 45 lakhs mainly because of advanced lab usage software access and project work By the third year it went up to around 1 point 5 lakhs The increase is gradual and not sudden so it feels manageable Overall the complete course cost comes around 4 point 3 to 4 point 5 lakhs Tuition fees take the major share while lab fees development charges and other compulsory costs are included within the yearly structure There are no major hidden charges but you may spend extra on materials based on your projects Some of my classmates from SC ST categories pay less compared to management because of government scholarships and fee concessions In some cases they pay around 30 to 50 percent lower depending on eligibility For scholarships the college does not strongly promote internal options but merit based support is there if you perform well Many students also apply for government scholarships like merit cum need and state schemes which helps reduce the overall burden Overall even though the fees increase slightly every year it feels justified when you actually use the labs software and resources and see your learning grow through the process

The fee structure for 2 year full time MBA that has been paid was Rs. 200000 per semester and the total course range was between Rs.800000-900000 Other courses such as PGDM which was 2 years full time course range between Rs.8.90 lakh to 9.9 lakh. Total fees , including other components like hostel are approximately Rs. 11.1 lakh to 12.1 lakh in total. Total tution fee: Rs. 8.9 lakh to 9.9 lakh Average salary package:- Rs. 3 lakh to 7 lakh per annum ABBS offers a variety of scholarships bases on academic merit, entrance exam scores & special categories (sports, defence, EWS. Candidates who have secured above 90% wil get INR 10000-30000 scholarship. For academic merit (12th gade / PU): 90% and above: INR 45000 80-89% : INR 35000 70-79% : INR 25000 60-69% : INR 15000

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

At St George College the total fee structure for the course Bsc Biochemistry is 2,10000 for the entire 3 years. there are compulsory industrial visits that cost around 1600 and sports fee around 900 for OBC. No scholarships are available or promoted in the college.

In our b.sc batch there were around 20 students in which many students got placed in IT and lab related rolls the highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa lowest to LP and average nearly 3lpa companies Infosys and Wipro visited illusion is about 100000 including all charges with scholarships available

Our college provides the best in everything there is no dislike

I am studying bachelors of hotel management. My course is for 4 years for four years I will pay 4,80,000 . Per year I will pay 1,20,000 excluding hostel fees I am staying in hostel for four years 5,88,000 for one year 1,47,000
