The faculty is good, it's a mix of friendly and strict.
Yes we can apply for the scholarships then we can get money firm the single scholarships which are helpful for students.
You will get average 6 lacs per annum easily and the campus is providing very good placements and their support very nice and then prove it good skills to learn it's very good.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is bad because lot of members will there in room and mess quality is poor, registration of hostel is easy and most of the student can get hostel with poor facilities and poor msintainence
Mess facility is not good. they always use bad quality of products to make our foods.
The faculties are of average standard and the administration is also not that good

Likes

Living expense is low and things are easily affordable
Friends and connection from all over India
Well connected to different industrial areas and IT parks

Dislikes

Under developed area and under developed town
Hostel food and facilities are not upto the mark
Administration is not considering the need of children

Some things never miss

Likes

Park, Gym, friends, Campus life,Infrastructure
Here have a good centre point that's very attractive
We have good shops nearby and here lot of dog

Dislikes

In summer climate it's very difficult to handle the situation here
The hostel food is very mess they are not providing Mesut option
The health is very poor and law infrastructure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum mainly designed for tourism and travel basics even though the experiment learning is very less. After the half of 4 th semester you go for internship in different organisations That's mandatory. Faculty members are Concerns about students classes from 10-4 saturday and sunday off

Likes

Class rooms because it's very advanced and teaching faculties they are very friendly
Library mainly because they are providing good network facility and there are very good collection of books
Other students, mainly local students are very friendly to other states students

Dislikes

Mess food facilities are very bad and their behaviour also
Climate and weather condition very bad , its not suitable for all
Local community peoples . Actually they are not advance so their behaviour also like that

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBA TOURISM AND HOTEL MANAGEMENT is a very good course, tourism is a largest and fastest growing industry in this context this is a relevant course. For me I think in some areas like apart from class room study in this course should include more outdoor especially like tourism related areas study with physical presence , The exams are quite easy,there is no difficulty

The syllabus includes principles and methods of archaeology, historical archeology, research methodology, ethnography, palaeography, epigraphy, academic writing, ancient India,mediaval India, modern India.world also Exams are in semester wise We should submit dissertation at the end of the last semester it carries 150 marks

A sweet bitter story.

Likes

The different fest conducted by the different departments.
Teachers are more friendly, knowledgeable
Hostel facilities like chair, tables, bed, amd almara for each person.

Dislikes

Meals Providing here are sometimes not good
Surrounding of hostel sometimes not cleaned.
Sometimes I feel like the university doesn't use the resources properly.

Placement Experience:

Central University of Karnataka provide placement opportunities for the students to get job after their completion of courses. The average package of jobs is four lakh per annum. Till now TCS, ITC, Esaf, home first, niva bupa came with average 4 lakh per annum.

Some faculties are good for your growth and improvement

Dislikes

Overall campus is pretty dull. No trees or not that much greenery.
Mess food is sometimes really bad. Even after complaining you might wont get any change

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum in central university of Karnataka is well prepared and thought of. Students can get the kost out of it because it is reevant in newer times. The curriculum prepares you for real world oppurtunities really well. Exams are conducted semester wise. Exam dates are predetermined and the dates will be exact and wont change. Exam will be 2:30 hour or can change depending upon the credit of the course. The teaching methods are good, but the facultcan be improved a bit.

Likes

I like the nature and surroundings especially a sunset point is there for our relaxation.
Teachers are supportive and department infrastructure and teaching methods are too good.
Internships, dissertation and field trips are included in the syllabus. It's good for students. So our syllabus also good.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities and mess food. Especially toilet facilities.
Health centre and ambulance services too bad. Doctors are not responsible at all. There is no lady nurse at the night time. Ambulance driver is very rude towards students.
Employees of different sections behaves rudely. Like library, dsw officers etc. And electric vehicles are there for students but they are not servicing for us.

Geology is the study of the earth and its interior. It's a vast area of study. Many fields are there like Mineral science, geochemistry, structural geology, geomorphology, palaeontology, petrology, climatology, hydrogeology, environmental geology, ore geology, mining geology, exploration geology, remote sensing and GIS techniques etc

Things you need to know before your admission in Central University of Karnataka

Likes

Diversity of culture and population, people across India is studying.
We can easily go to many tourists spots .
Exposure of central university and good knowledge on other opportunities.

Dislikes

Poor administration and their services and bad policies(May ne even corrupt).
Administration biased towards specific students and one particular political organisation.
Lack of transportation facilities and poor quality food in mess

Course Curriculum Overview:

Department of business Studies is quiet good. Even though they don't have placements, the curriculum and syllabus is good. Faculties are well qualified and lecturrs are good. All MBA students are working or started their own startups.

Whether is too hot in summer seasons , Its 45 - 50 .
Mess food is not up to the marks . Spicy and oily
Hostels are to less here . Some time need to adjust. they are building new hostels

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wil rate 9 out of 10 for the course and corriculum and lab facilitties here are excellent. one of the distinguishing feature of MCA program is that it emphasis on the hands on training and industry exposure.

Overall collage is good. Library is good. We are getting study materials and articles and journal according to our needs from the library. So it is very useful for the students amd iam very happy with that.
The infrastructure and facilities that is providing by the university is good.the climate condition is very extreme in that place. The collage is providing AC facilities in classes also. Iam happy with that.

Dislikes

Mess food is too bad. The students cant eat the food. I dont like tha food and there should make some changes in the food many because students are facing many health issues and so there should be some changes.
Also the university is too big it is too difficult to walk around the university. So there is no proper travel facility. So the university should work on that and provide atleast travel facilities according to students needs.

The msw curriculum should be based on the field work. Because it is a professional course and students should experience through their course. But in Central university of karnataka there is no field exposure. So the students who wants to get the experience also should choose any other universities.
