The KSLU Story

Likes

The girls are comparitively more in my class. The ratio would be 70:30
I like the way the events are conducted.
Sports is gove importance in our college.

Dislikes

Not much appreciation is done on behalf of sports activities amd achievements
Few teachers in the college have vast knowledge but lack teaching skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Major teachers go off topic and theres no relevance to the topic or lesson or chapter they are supposed to teach. Which in turn confuses us on what we have to study. It would be better if they use interesting and enthusiastic ways to keep the class energetic and mindfull on what the teacher saying. Implying new methods of teaching would be of great help.

This course is my dream because good lawyer is important to society, curriculum provide hands on experience and project that mimic real world scenario, communication and teamwork, diversity and inclusion, active learning strategies personalized learning, mental health and well being, weekly or bi weekly, covering specific topics or chapter, 1-2 times per semter for midterm

A sneak peak into SJCL

Likes

The faculty is very highly qualified and are very patient and aporoachable
A library which has all the materials to study and is accessible at any time
The fests are very good and very fun filled

Dislikes

No much importance for sports given in the college
Canteen food is very expensive in certain cases
No much time given for studying for the internal exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good i.e it has 5 subjects in the first 2 sems which includes 2 business sub 2 accountancy sub and 1 law sub and from the 3rd year it will be all law subjects without having any bcom subjects

I like the Campus and environment of the college which is calm trees surrounding the buliding
The student community is vast and students have come from various regions and speak different languages. It is a opportunity to Learn various cultures.
The facilities of the college is good like the MOOT court, Library, ground and auditorium , seminar hall

Dislikes

The Rules of the college is very strict and it is difficult for students to Get used to . It is like a school than college.
The college doesn't give any importance to students career or their queries . College supreess students voice.
The college gives punishment for almost everything and makes exploits money from students and they don't care about students career they just want money and for that they can totally spoil students career for money.

Placement Experience:

Placements are okay not so good because of the field as Law doesn't have much placements because it is only given in corporate sector and other things people only have to get employment like for Self employment.

Likes

We in B.V.Bellad law college have the most experienced faculty
The mentors are good with the mentor and mentee program
Solves our difficulties as quickly as possible

Dislikes

There's no seperate building, we are currently in the education complex
Students take stuff for granted,but the stuff is manageable
Less greenery around the campus though the campus is big

Yes the course we study is very relevant to the society.we are thought how to connect law with society.also have legal aid cell through which we get good exposure with regards to our course as well as the society

Experience about my college life

Likes

I liked the areas of the college and i felat very comfortable on that place amazing college which i never so... before in my life
Compus was very good i liked the place and the social interaction with the people also done with well and the people are very good
First of all i didn't understand stood anything and now i can cleary understand

Dislikes

The behaviour of the classmates with i did not liked there
When our class room becomes dirty and when the sound of the class mates
When the lectures are talking very rudely with us which i didn't liked with them

This couse was very useful in our future generation because this may help us in anytime and anywhere and this gives us more knowledge about the laws and about the politics and social medias so.. i can say this this provide us a great knowledge

Likes

The teaching was good , experienced faculty .
College timings are very convinent. College starts at 7:30 Am
Excellent Library with many great books for both curriculum and for knowledge .

Dislikes

The college is situated in the heart of the city. The traffic noise is an issue.
The parking space is really conjested making it not very convinent
That every Saturday is a full working day.

Placement Experience:

There were opportunities given to students from several companies as well as advocate offices. Internship opportunities were also provided. The package was decent. Many students got great internship opportunities.

I have decided to chose law and it had enough reputation so i choosed . In law field the subject matter won't get you ready for the real world. But colleges are providing time for doing internship and they provide exemption for assessment internship We were Covid batch so there were no stipulated time period but they managed to graduate us in the stipulated time

Likes

I like the teaching skill and communication
Good friendly and have good library for readings
good teaching skills and provide a notes

Dislikes

Some time they will not provide notes properly
Also the college was bad it's good for low fees structure
And also the teachers will not encourage most of the things

I review that out of 5 I will give the ratings of the course was 4.9 because the course will give the knowledge about law the frequency timings was very comfortable because it's difficult but we can write the exam in 3 hours it's not too long

My Bachelor college life

Likes

I liked the campus because its large enough.
It's infrastructure is also good. Free wifi also.
Faculty are friendly. Well behaved and mannered

Dislikes

Although campus is big, its bit dirty. I mean it needs to be cleaned up
Infrastructure are good but need to be more in number because there are many students who need equal facilities. Wifi also bit slow
Only well behaved and mannered is not enough. They should also know how to teach effectively.
