The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) (Professional) program at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) requires candidates to have a minimum of 75% in their Class 12 examination from an authorized board, such as CBSE, ICSE, or state boards. There is no general reservation system, though some seats are allocated for specific categories such as military, sports, and caste. The admissions process is conducted primarily online, with application details and timelines available on the university’s official website, usually opening around January.
The fee structure is approximately 1,50,000 INR. While most students are admitted based on academic performance, a personal interview is conducted where candidates are asked basic commerce-related questions and personal queries. Successful candidates receive a provisional admission letter. Interested students should monitor the university portal for updates and ensure all documents are submitted through the secure online system. The feedback time for the application process has room for improvement, but the streamlined system generally ensures a safe and efficient admission experience.
There is no direct entrance exam specifically for this program, distinguishing it from other competitive programs like IPMAT.
