Admission to CUSAT is based on the CUSAT CAT entrance exam, which is held online in May. Notifications are issued in February, and results are announced in June, with classes starting in early July. Semester fees are approximately 4,000-5,000 INR, with a reduced fee of around 300 INR for SC/ST students.
