Kannur university is a state government formed university established in 1996, it focuses on imparting education to all students in all districts of Kerala who have limited resources and it offers so many UG and PG courses and even research degrees. The faculty base too is very helpful and highly qualified. They follow a very standardised syllabus which benefits the students getting a degree there.

Our college provides plenty of employment opportunities and educational opportunities in a most affordable fee option. The fee option of our college is very affordable which attracts most of the students to the college also.

The most positive thing about my college will definitely be the affordable fee option that has been provided to the students and the second thing that I really like about my college will be the positive attitude of the faculty members.

I applied to this college after my 12th with my 12th score. I got admission on the spot after verification of all my documents. Admission process is very easy in this school of distance education. This college gives admission to all students who want to study further through distance mode.

Admission to this Institute is given by the university on the spot, we will have to take application form and submit that and have to submit all details, after getting them verified we are given admission. There is no interview or entrance exam for this.

When the admission comes to general courses, the process always depends on the marks that a student scores in his/her 12th examination or equivalent. 40% is the eligibility criteria for students to apply.

Admission to this college is purely based on the marks or percentage that one scores in 10+2 examination or equivalent. Since, I am doing my graduation in Mathematics - the marks I got in Maths in 12th examination was taken into consideration.

After studying in this college for more than 2 years, one thing that I can say with utmost confidence is that our college is one of the best college that anyone can find in this city. Any other college in this city do not always offer such type of facilities.
