Fees and Financial Aid:

I'm paying almost 20000 per semester And in addition 5000 per year At the admission time there'll be a caution deposit of 5000 rs and a 4000 rs including development fees, admission fees,lab fees etc Addmission is based on keam ranking so the one with higher rank gets free scholarship and they shouldn't have to pay any fee There's is NRI quata in our collage which cost extra 30000 per semester Our college provides scholarships like NSP , E GRANTZ etc.

A total of 13350 was paid during the first sem Admission fee -240 Tution fee -6300 Special fee-2110 Exam fee-3200 Ktu fee-1500 At the time of enrollment a seperate 7000 was paid Students eligible for egrantz were exempted from tution and special fee Students belonging to sc/st were refunded the full amount at a later time

GEC PALAKKAD at a glance

Each semester we have to pay semester registration fees. The amount of fees varies depending on your category. A maximum of 8500 will cost for the registration. Sc st students need not to pay this Obc candidates who are eligible for egrantz have fees reduction.

First of all i joined college in Fee waiver option so i have only 25000/ year but others my batchmates have around 55000 to 60000 Admission fees is around 5000 , Lab fees for exams is 420 . i get in merit so i have scholarships like E grantz

The fine that they implement for late fee is very bad.

At my college my fees for an year is 65000.Here the most of the students are joined in NRI seat. So the fees for such people is little high compared to the other students. College provides various scholarship for the students.

55000 is the fees i paid year wise. The tution fees, development fees, lab fees etc. are included in this year wise fees. The 10000 rupees i paid as the caution deposit and it will got back after passout. The fees structure is different for different department , management, sc and st.

There is printing technology department for BTech. The only college of south india that provides Btech degree for printing technology.

The university paper valuation is a little bit stricter.

Fees per year for each course is 40000/- and hostel fees is just Rs 250. But there is fee waiver for one student of each class who scores more marks in keam exam in that particular class. And Egrantz and Musilm scholarships have been provided for the students according to cast and income. For more details about that, you can google it, or contact the authority. The cost doesn't stops at fees only, other than tution fee. There comes exam fees supplymentary fees. And caution deposit of 5000/- at college and 3000/- at the hostel. If we are choosing canteen , it's monthly bill amount is according to the food we had. And there a caution deposit of 2000/- should be paid. All these caution deposit will get refunded when we are leaving the college after our 4 years course completion.

Since the college is government affiliated, the fee is very cheap.Also there is scholarships based on the minorities and academic excellence. The scholarships are provided by both central and state governments are available.

The academics are very boring and the syllabus is very long
Many rules are there we have to follow that there is minimum attendence percentage that we need fro writing exams

As this is a government institution the fees are affordable compared to other private institutions. The fees include tution fee, exam fee, arts and sports fee. All of this fees come under 15k . But if you are having reservations and SC/ST only tution fee is payable. And also there are several scholarships like Egrantz, MCM, and many other private scholarships. Applying to these scholarships can reduce your fee amount and also can earn money upto 10000 per year.
