Course Curriculum Overview
The course that i have taken admission is b. Tech in mechanical engineering this course offers you a wide range of future job possiblities and different post graduate courses. The curriculum that we follow in our college is based on how we can build ourselves in this challenging world and be a successful person. The curriculum and teaching methods are good, the lectures are focused mainly on exams so that we can score good marks in exam. Comparatively exams are little tough but if you pay attention to class and study well it is a piece of cake
Internships Opportunities
Comparitively internship opportunities in college are low. But college provides vacation for doing internship in your comfortable company. And also college promotes internships and projects for students and helps in getting internship opportunities
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements in their 7th or 8th semester . The college is providing different classes and training programmes for students before facing placement interviews. There are many companies which visit college including Walkaro, Kodnest, etc. Many students are being placed in many industries in past few years, average of 300 students are placed in last year . I am looking for post graduate in designing after getting my b. Tech degree
Fees and Financial Aid
As this is a government institution the fees are affordable compared to other private institutions. The fees include tution fee, exam fee, arts and sports fee. All of this fees come under 15k . But if you are having reservations and SC/ST only tution fee is payable. And also there are several scholarships like Egrantz, MCM, and many other private scholarships. Applying to these scholarships can reduce your fee amount and also can earn money upto 10000 per year.
Campus Life
The campus life in the college is very interesting and memorable. There are many events that occur at college in which we can participate and also we can attend for many merits. Last year an international level multilevel fest held in college named invento 23 in the month of September. Which include technical events and art events. Through these events we can increase our skills and also by conducting these events we can improve our leadership and coordinating skills. The college central Library is large and resourceful, other than that every department have their own library. And every classroom is development and can occupy minimum of 60 students. The sports meet and arts fest are held in college during past months. There are many organizations and social clubs that are student run and also international level including SAE, IEEE, NSS, etc.
Admission
Eligibility for the respective institution is 12th pass in computer science or biology sciene stream. The admission for this institution is based on the marks scored in an entrance exam called keam. Marks of the keam entrance exam is considered for the admission into different branches. We can apply for keam entrance exam through internet and we can also find the college details and fees structure from keam online site. The entrance exam will be based on the 12th class syllabus having three subjects following physics, chemistry and mathematics. After completing the exam we can apply to different colleges through keam site and can take admission according to allotments
