Likes

They have good teaching skills and exam guidance and suggestions are very good
Festival celebrations are awesome and we enjoy it to the extreme level.
There not much of an increase in fee as far as i know and there are so many scholarship and aids from government and non government parties.

Dislikes

The delay of semester exams and second semester is very fastly going on
My college principle is a very bad character no programs very bad colleg but university college is a campus and programs
Examination are alredy disliked and students are some getting tired by writing exams and all this was unlocked by the students of every colleges

Evaluating the academic excellence and campus life at University of calicut

Likes

Huge library where plenty of collection of books which is helpful for references and can access many educational magazines without spending any money
Better class room and computer lab and infrastructure for studying which is helpful for better understanding of concepts
A highly qualified faculties that have better knowledge on the subject

Dislikes

The hostel is not much liking and the food in hostel mess is not good
The academic calender is very short and didn't get enough time to teach all the concepts
Need to improve the syllabus which should include latest technology and applications

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus covers all the aspects of statistical concepts and it include practical exams which include R programms which is use3d in data analysis and final semester project also help us to improve our knowledge on statistics, we can also add online courses which are we done during the years to improve over credit score, and in 3rd semester we can study one paper other on other department as a open elective course which help us to improve our knowledge other than statistics , and workshops, seminars will conduct which will improve our knowldege exam are conducted every six months and exams are not much diificult, valuation are done strictly . we get a 1 week of study leave for every semester exams.

Inside the Calicut University Campus: A personal review of learning, enjoying and growth.

Likes

Campus is 24 hour campus. Helps students to do things according to their interest and there are no restrictions.
24 Learning space is available which is air conditioned and students can read, write or study there according to their desired time.
University park is available which is very nice.

Dislikes

University park visit is restricted to 2 hours

Placement Experience:

Our department have a low rate of direct placements. But our course is a high valued course and we have a better placement possibility. The department must be little bit more careful about the placement activities.

My specified course was in clinical psychology and the course is good .the improvements needed is we need more practical training for the same.the timing of exams are mostly in morning and the exams are being conducted properly

A review on ansar Women's College

Likes

It is women friendly campus so we can get many opportunities for showcasing our talent and skills
As it is women's college we are able to attend many beneficial sessions on women empowerment and on other areas too
In our department, from this year onwards we at last got a studio for doing our works

Dislikes

There are many restrictions and many other processes to get or avail anything
As a hosteler , I have felt many discomfort. The food which is served there is sometimes good and sometimes it is the worst . Mostly it will be worse
In the case of faculty, i have also had a bad experience from them but I really had to cope up to finish my degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is all good and cover many range of topics which are mostly important and we also had may revision sessions but are very few and as a suggestion i would like some of the teachers to improve the way they take the classes . Sometime at the end of the semester they will hurry up and finish the portions so fastly. We also have 1/2 internals in each semester.

The overall atmosphere there is amazing. On the top of a small hill, surrounded by trees, it is a very good place for nature enthusiasts.
The faculty is well knowledgable and experienced. They are all prominent people in their respective fields.
Academics is given the priority. For anyone who want to 'study', prajyoti is definitely the best choice. The library & faculty is 100% helpful.

Dislikes

We could use some more celebrations. We feel like we get to enjoy less programs compared to other colleges.
Strictness. The college is not very strict but it sometimes feel like a school.
Not at all satisfied with the number of days they are allowing for college tour

Placement cell is avilable in the college for all the courses except BSc psychology. Final semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like vipro, deloitte, piramal finance etc offers placements here. The average package is 3L per annum. I plan to go for higher education

The teachers are very friendly and nice...
The surroundings are neet and clean. Such a greenish view
Lectures are taking well and understandable

Dislikes

Programmes and other cultural activities are very limited
Actually there is no free time after college
We can't leave the campus on our free will

Placement Experience:

We can apply for placement after 3rd year. Placements are very good most of the graduates are getting placed in good companies. The Average packages are from 3.2 lpa upto 9 lpa for freshers according to the data it's excellent.

A review about my College.

Likes

Our college have a large campus which is good for many activities other than study.
Our department have a specialised computer lab
Library is very well equipped with manu useful books for our studies.

Dislikes

Practical study very less as my course is a professional one.
There is no any type of IV in our course
Boys to girls ratio is so bad here in our class

Placement Experience:

Placements will be started from 3rd semester for masters students and 5th semester for bachelors students. This year about 300 students have placed in various companies. In my class 3 students have got placements in various companies. One even got placed in federal Bank having a salary of 12 lakh per annum.

Very Vast campus and good chance of social interactions.Grounds,indoors, Gymnasium and other Sports facilities are good.
There is many clubs which features Empowerment,Arts and Sports Skills,NSS&NCC is also active.
Quality of infrastructure and basic amenities is the best. One of the biggest library according to other kerala colleges is available in our campus.Classes and labs are well maintained and smart technology.

Dislikes

small road infront of main entrance so there is always Rush and crowded.
College Hostels are very pathetic and food is not good below average.
In campus there is no free wifi connectivity

Placement Experience:

From the last Semester onwards students get to chance in campus placements and interviews done by various Comapnies including it comapnies like TCS etc. Only 15-20% students got placements. Companies offers many packages and starting packages is from 150000 pa.

Library was super. All needed books was there. There is no need of buying syllabus book seperately.
Good lab infrastructure. All equipment and devices are there also we can do projects
Girls is more there.i think ratio is double than men

Placement cell is need to improve more and more

Its a best subject and also not have other colleges these subject.i have intrested in this topic so loved it. Practical are some time tough and the exam also but the subject is intresting also job oriented

Calicut University has worth, which is why it is still in running. Some students enter college and, after a year, succumb to depression due to personal reasons, despite having been good students in the school with over 85% marks. Nonetheless, they fail in a few semesters.

Exams are not held on time, and results are not delivered on time. Only book nerds find it easy to pass with passing grades. This university is not thought to be for the underprivileged. You simply must be patient and work extremely hard to avoid becoming trapped in such a situation. Studying one or two weeks before an exam will not help in any way.
