Likes

They have good teaching skills and exam guidance and suggestions are very good
Festival celebrations are awesome and we enjoy it to the extreme level.
There not much of an increase in fee as far as i know and there are so many scholarship and aids from government and non government parties.

Dislikes

The delay of semester exams and second semester is very fastly going on
My college principle is a very bad character no programs very bad colleg but university college is a campus and programs
Examination are alredy disliked and students are some getting tired by writing exams and all this was unlocked by the students of every colleges

My college is my home

Likes

College has good natural friendly environment. And infrastructure are good but some classes consists old bench and desk.
Our college provides many opportunities for personal development. They conduct different programs on this purpose.
Our faculties are good. Two teachers have doctorat. Our teachers were very friendly. Especially female teachers

Dislikes

There is no internship or placement opportunities in the college. Festivals and celebration are too less when comparing with other colleges.
Some class rooms are very poor quality. Social engagements are very less. Especially we have no chance to work on organisations like NSS.
Our fees are two high. It's not affordable for common students. And fecilities are not sufficient for studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this college because it has different types of degree. Like food technology and Islamic studies. I want to study Islamics as a degree so I choose this college. It's curriculum is very rich. Our curriculum is following Calicut University syllabus. However we had a good curriculum which unable as to achieve a great future. I suggest some sort of improvement in curriculum. Especially in our course. We don't have specific text books for our subjects. We are studying using references. It's very difficult to study. Exams are conducted on every six months. But it's intermediate one not so difficult not so easy.

Placement Experience:

They are many placement opportunities are there. The companies like TCS Wipro Accenture Tata electronics etc. They will give a good opportunity to get a good job. Some companies are recruit for high payment

A rather nice college

Likes

The college supports sports and other curricular activities and clubs highly.
Students are all very united and strong bond of friendship amongst everybody
Teachers are all so supportive and friendly.

Dislikes

The library could be a bit more larger and add more books
The campus used to be nature friendly, but recently cut down some trees that students used to love and stick by
Infrastructure could be a bit more better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very much upto date and oriented to the Indian subtext. Exams are competent but just at the right level. We have regular unit tests and very well-done practical exams too. it provides insight into our daily life as well as gives enough knowledge for further academic pursuit.

Experience ans a ug student

Likes

Campus life is pretty much good for studies, programs and extracurricular activities
The college infrastructure includes a library, one main auditorium and one inside the campus, also there are labs
They also provide placement for both ug and pg students

Dislikes

As the attendance is 75% compulsory, we cant take much leave as it end up in our results at with held in sem exams
The canteen in our college is usually mess
Our college has a lift but only for teachers

Course Curriculum Overview:

As am a BBA graduate, i think the course is pretty much okeyish for me compared to bcom., There are more theory paper than problem papers. They usually conduct internal exams for each and every sem and i think its good for students to learn before the semester exams

Likes

Professors are pretty much qualified and friendly,They are always available for clearing any of your doubts.

Dislikes

College should have been kept more clean.Plastic free campus would be a nice idea
Hostellers does face the issue of curfew timings.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is prepared by our college staff themselves,as our college is an autonomous institute.We opt the best faculty to prepare our syllabus. Although it's a great learning experience for sure.

Likes

The college gives importance to sports and other extra curricular activities.
College offers placement to most of the professional courses

Dislikes

Teachers of my department are not upto the mark in my opinion. Their teaching methods and attitude towards the children is so outdated
The constant reasons college finds to remit some sort of fees from students.

Placement Experience:

•College has an active placement cell that does everything in their ability to provide maximum number of placement for students. It doesn't guarantee placement, but try to increase the odds of it. •Placement training is given to students regularly •A good number of students do get placements each year.

Farook college is suberb

College ambience,farook college have a very calm and quiet atmosphere for academics ,sports ,arts ,etc
Teachers from farook college are very friendly and so lovable
Farook college give good opportunity for those those studentshas intrested in competitive examination

Some blocks are very old they absolutely need a renovation mainly like chemical labs

Im doing Bsc chemistry,so talking about my course there is a huge role in collge. This course makes many opportunities for students who like to do research and provides many internship opportunities .

There is a number of club That enhance you
They provide a healthy canteen with veg and non veg
Lectures are very great and the classroom are in very good condition

Dislikes

They don't provide any assistance in scholarships
In the number of working days are less due to politics

Placement Experience:

Placements are calling gives to final years but given that starting 2024 Calicut University introduce 4 year degree plan so we can't say anything about placement yet because they also put forward a proposal that students can drop of from the degree after 3 years or they can complete the 4 years program even though if 3 years or 4 years they can complete

College atmosphere, its really positive with a open graden for students
The faculty is extremely supportive to ward students
Many different types of courses available for open course

Dislikes

Toilet’s are not always clean , they often forget to clean them
Some teachers holds personal grudges towards the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

BSW provides me with such an opportunity. However, the teachers sometimes lag the portions making it difficult towards the end-semester exams. The course helps you face the real world by entering field work which is a part of my curriculum that helps me build my confidence while dealing with clients.

Calicut University has worth, which is why it is still in running. Some students enter college and, after a year, succumb to depression due to personal reasons, despite having been good students in the school with over 85% marks. Nonetheless, they fail in a few semesters.

Exams are not held on time, and results are not delivered on time. Only book nerds find it easy to pass with passing grades. This university is not thought to be for the underprivileged. You simply must be patient and work extremely hard to avoid becoming trapped in such a situation. Studying one or two weeks before an exam will not help in any way.
