Faculty is very good who provides you best and better knowledge
Bvdu offers multiple choice of companies to its students as bvdu is one of the best university and provide the best placements to big tech companies like college dunia hcl, del, mahindra and mahindra upgrade, and many more.
Tution fee increased by 5% every year it costs almost about 28-30 lakhs for entire degre some scholarship for ews is available a very good internship programme is available which doesn't have any stipends but experience gained is worth it.

Dislikes

Other than fest ,clubs,sports there is no extra curricular we can do.
They don?? conduct extracurricular activities weekly
The overall cost of education is high. Strict regulations for attendance.

IMED- The institute run by teachers

Likes

The teachers are the highlight of this institution, there are a lot of teachers present who can be a guide and role model for all students
The fest is exciting due to the amount of people that just come in and enjoy as a unit altogether
The staff , janitors , Watchmen etc are polite and helpful they show the way to a lot of young students and assist them with any questions

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not up to the mark , the building is quite old
The campus is also not that big as it is the old campus not the new and big one in katraj
The dates of exams and other things shift quite frequently hence you have to be ready

Placement Experience:

Students can do internships from the second year and they are eligible for placements during their final semesters, usually our college has a wide base of companies, but due to the recent slowdown of the job market the amount of companies have reduced and the packages are also not that attractive since last year, the highest package ever is 48-52 lakhs international and 18-20 lakhs domestic , average package is around 2-5 lakhs

Short campus, selection in sports is not goin good way!!

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester, students became eligible for the campus placement. There many companies which visit every year in our college.such as Infosys, cognizant,Wipro,jio, phone pay etc. More than 90% of students are get placed every year.

You can apply for the internship if you have skill for very beginning of the college years, or in 2nd year you have , placement are available from the 7 semester, college have traning and placement cell, which provides training for it.

Life as a dental student at BVDU

Likes

Campus, Infrastructure, Events, Education quality partially

Less hands on experience (very important in dentistry)
Did not meet like minded people (important part of university experience)

Course Curriculum Overview:

BDS is a 4 year long course with 1 year mandatory internship providing theoretical & practical experience of medical sciences & dentistry. It's essential to build a career as a dental surgeon and can opt for 8 different clinical specialties plus multiple non clinical options. It is what you make of it. Nowadays, Dentistry has become quite oversaturated & requires a lot of investment & patience to settle. If money is not an issue or you already have dentists in your family, it could turn out to be a career path full of growth. If not, do some self evaluation and research about it. At the end, it's a matter of personal choice and interests. Almost all the faculties are doctors/dentists themselves with specialisations in the particular subject they teach. Everyone is well qualified & some of them are great teachers as well. Exams did happen timely & as long as you study regularly & gain enough hands on experience, it's be easier to ace university exams.

Good infrastructure like college have not much but pretty good enough campus size
Good environment like we all know pune have best weather anytime
Good college life like we have club so we get interaction with senior's easily

Dislikes

Class are not up to the mark like class are just same as school class

Placement Experience:

Like highest package is 50lpa but it's not from campus it's out of campus and the highest package in campus is 30lpa CTC and students are able to do internship from 2nd year or 3rd year and we get placement from 4th year only

Library has relevant books for study you can issue them
There are different branches you can opt if want to study in it feild

Time table policy can be improved for the students
More focus on placement can be taken care of
More practical knowledge should be present in curriculum

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester companies start to visit college usually average package will be around 5-6 lakh per annum and almost 85-90 percent of computer branch students were placed in companies via campus placements.

Are placement ratio of my college is 50 percent and average placement is around 5 lacks . But college shows on there website that 90 percent students get placement which I find wrong . I also came in this collage by seeing placement.

Marathi local teachers hired more who have problem speaking other state students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did Bachelor's of Technology in Civil Engineering, faculty mostly was local except few HOD ma'am who is currently principal was very helpful and generous, few teachers had difficulties in other languages other than Marathi, most of the teachers were Doctrates in there field or masters term exams were in December and May always on time

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is knowledgeable as expected and the faculty members are also very supportive and great in their own teaching field. My course contains all the coding languages necessary for the placement and I got to learn a lot from it. After 2 months they conduct a Unit Test and after a month of that there is End sem.

campus placements are also offered in the bvimr institute and students have employability in the institute itself. the highest package had gone to 36 lac and the lowest package had gone to 6 lac. every student has their own future plans after getting the degree.

I have a friend who completed his engineering program from BVDU, Pune back in 2018. Here is a brief overview of the college based on his experience at the institute.

Campus- The campus is beautiful. Before it became deemed to be a university it used to be among the best colleges under PU.
College life- Academic-wise, the practical portion is generally neglected. BVDU follows the PU submission pattern, so you'll be compelled to finish your assignments before the deadline.
Crowd- My friend mentioned that due to the crowd, BVDU always stood superior to the IITs in Pune because here you would come across people who belong to diverse backgrounds and mindsets. This diversification shapes your personality.
Faculty- It is pretty average. But for someone who carries a thirst to learn, they would not be disappointed. The HOD and professors are no doubt excellent. But the biggest drawback is that they don’t put in 100% effort.
Placements- In case you're someone with excellent coding skills, the companies that show up may give you a chance, Students from ECE, IT, CS has decent placement record. You can try to work on your communication skills, build your LinkedIn network and contribute your work in the final year. The average salary received by students was 7 LPA while the highest package was 54 LPA.

All in all, it may not be the best college in Pune, but you'd come across several people from different backgrounds and the faculty quality is also good. You can definitely consider it as an option.
