IIT Bombay Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are eligible for campus placements by the third year. Companies from all over the world and countries like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, reliance, and many more offer great salaries and perks to students. The highest packages reach 3-4 crore rs pa and the average is around 7-8 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is as high as 60-70 %. I also plan to first get 4-5 years of industry experience.

From third semester students are eligible for getting placements. Companies like Cairn India, SLB, Exonn, Halliburton etc come every year for placements. Highest package is around 24 lakhs and average is 13 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is very less. After getting degree anyone can give competitive exams like gate for PSUs and GSI and if anybody is interested they can go for phds.

The courses are not always relevant to the current feildd interest but essential, curiosity will be entertained but outside the classrooms. The courses prepare you well for the real world applications but you have to think yourselves about the concepts. The courses are not how i imagined it to be like rather very mathematical. Could be made more based on intuition. Exam timings seems very comfortable if you are studying lol.

In the end of 7th sem you will have to sit for placements and on that you will be eligible, the placement date is fixed it starts from 1st December and percentage of student placed is around 90% every year And highest package of last year was 4 crores around and the average package was 16lpa

Final year students are eligible for the campus placement..Indian institute of technology Bombay is one of the most renowned institute in India. Campus placement is excellent here.because it is the no 1 IIT .on an average 8-10 lakh package is normal in iits.some exceptional talents get upto 2crore per year salary.in structural engineering course every year around 90 percentage students get placement incampus and rest are generally not interested in campus placement as they are more focused in higher education like PhD.

After 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The interviews starts in December after seventh semester. Numerous MNCs and IT , Finance, and trading companies offer veriety of positions.I have also secured an offer through placements.

Because of relative grading in exams, there is some sort of unhealthy competition among batchmates and friends to score more than other. This creates tense environment during the exam time too. The frequency of exam should be reduce , or time for semester should be increase , it will give time for learn something other than subject

The campus placements in the college are amazing. Students from the 7th and 8th semesters become eligible for campus placement however some get PPO(pre-placement offers) from the 6th semester itself. All the renowned companies from all sectors be it coding, finance, consultancy, civil, mechanical, or electrical visit the company to recruit students. For the civil department, the top recruiters are L&T, TATA, RAMBOLL, etc. College Placement 2023 record: Highest: 3.67 crores per annum (internationally) and 1.68 crores per annum (domestically). Average: 21.2 lakhs per annum Median: 19 lakhs per annum.

Placements are good indeed especially for non-core jobs. But the tag of IIT Bombay will help you whatever you pursue further in your life. The placement season is in the last but one semester for every student according to their course. The average package sits around 20 to 25 LPA. All the big companies come for placements so there should be no worry regarding the dream company coming to campus or not. The percentage of students getting placed includes a lot of metrics but according to the recent reports the percent of unemployed students is around 10%. I might pursue higher studies.
