MAFSU Faculty

The college faculty is highly experienced, qualified, and supportive, with many professors holding PhDs or working towards them. Despite operating at only 48% of the necessary staffing levels, faculty members are committed to providing quality education, offering practical and theoretical learning experiences. The college has nine departments, including Aquaculture and Food Processing, and faculty members are praised for their knowledge, accessibility, and dedication to student success.

Exams include three internal assessments and a comprehensive annual examination, with practicals and theory carrying significant weight. While the anatomy department is particularly noted for excellence, some infrastructure and faculty strength concerns exist in the microbiology department. Overall, the faculty is described as friendly yet disciplined, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
