NMIMS SPPSPTM B.Pharm FAQs
Ques. Is the NMIMS B.Pharm admission based only on State CET, or can I apply without a CET score?
Ans. Admission to the B.Pharm programme at NMIMS SPPSPTM is primarily based on State CET scores (any state pharmacy CET for 2026). However, candidates who have not appeared for any CET may also apply. If seats remain vacant after admitting CET candidates, non-CET candidates are admitted based on their 10+2 PCM/PCB aggregate marks. It is advisable to appear for a State CET to improve your chances of admission.
Ques. What is the difference between the standalone B.Pharm and the B.Pharm+MBA (Pharma Tech) programme at NMIMS?
Ans. The standalone B.Pharm is a 4-year programme leading to a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, focusing on pharmaceutical sciences, community pharmacy, and industrial pharmacy. The B.Pharm+MBA (Pharma Tech) is a 5-year integrated dual-degree programme that combines the B.Pharm with an MBA in Pharmaceutical Technology, preparing students for managerial roles in the pharma industry. The B.Pharm+MBA is admitted through the NMIMS-CET exam, while the standalone B.Pharm is admitted through State CET scores.
Ques. What is the industrial training component in the B.Pharm programme?
Ans. The B.Pharm curriculum at NMIMS SPPSPTM includes 4 weeks of mandatory industrial training, typically in pharmaceutical manufacturing companies, quality assurance labs, or hospital pharmacies.
