DY Patil University Navi Mumbai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The curriculum is very very hectic and it is also one of the toughest fields to choose from, but it was always a dream to be a doctor. specially when we go to the hospital and the patients look up to us, it is the best feeling one can get. we have 4 sets of exams a year which focus on us understanding our course thoroughly, personally i wouldn't want to change the learning or the examination pattern

Placements are offered after the first half of the third year or during the fourth year. The highest package is 14 LPA and the average package is 6 to 7 LPA. Most of the students get placed during the fourth year.

Student become eligible for internships since second year and full time opportunities since third year. The placements for full time start from 6th semester and go on till end of 7th semester. Companies like TCS, LTIM, Tech Mahindra etc come pretty early on. Some product based companies also come in 6th sem itself. Average package is 5-6 LPA and highest is 25 LPA. Approximately, 85% get placed. Some go for higher education too so they don't opt for placements. I opted for placement and got into Accenture through on campus selection.

From 7 th Semister Students are eigible for Campus placement drives. Various companies like Veritas, TCS, Persistant etc visit college to hire students. Average Package Offered is 6.5 LPA. Almost 80 percent student get place every year.

I chose Computer Engineering course because I had intrest in coding. Computer Engineering course is for the one's who want to go in technical field like coding. The faculties are either PHD or Masters, they have a good experience in teaching. Although the faculties don't provide excellent knowledge but they tend to provide sufficient knowledge. There are four exams in a sem first is IA-1(Unit test 1) then Mid-Sem then IA-2(Unit test 2) and final End-Sem

I was interested in Bioinformatics and saw DY Patil is providing Btech course . Bioinformatics is one of the emerging filed in India. We have well qualified faculty of 12 professor. Most of them were PhD and Mphil holder. Exam are tuff to clear

I had passion for doing MBBS.My parents are doctors and I also have interest in the field. Each subject has appropriate no. of faculty and all are very knowledgeable.All the faculty members have different methods and are very capable and exams are on a 3 months basis.

Students become eligible for the campus placement after the third year. the salary package ranges from 6.99,00,00 per annum and can go up to 13,00,00 per annum The minimum percent criteria will be 60% to become eligible for any recruitment process without any live KT.

From 5 semister students are eligible for placement and this college does provide college placement though a BBA degree has less package avg package here is around 4lakh per annum I am going to opt for MBA after this.

It has numerous applications in research field, laboratory works, technologies. Faculty are well qualified and give proper attention & knowledge to each student. There are 2 semester and 2 mid sem exams.
