My College Review

Likes

I liked the ambiance of my college, library is so big and peaceful for studies
I liked the college timing, it was 11:00 to 5:45 pm
I liked the events organized by the College

Dislikes

What I don't like is different rules for girls and boys.
Canteen food was not so good & there was no variety.

Placement Experience:

Placements were provided by the college .From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visited for the campus drive.

Likes

It is situated far from city in friendly and natural environment and in fresh natural area
It is the most placement giving college in region of about yearly 600+ placements in various multinational companies
Timing and facilities for student is vary beautiful as compared to other with canteens food also.

Dislikes

WIFI facility is given but the speed is negligible and data get only about 50 MB for overall lifetime
In college there are some small to medium halls of capacity 200 to 400 students 1 need of large auditorium
The road towards parking is very bad condition lots of times feels like hell.

Placement Experience:

Thehighest placement in our region giving college is none other than our college with placement in companies like, accenture, cognizant, capgimini, tcs,intel,kpmg, mahendra.tatasteel, bosch , and local to various startups .

My College first experience

Likes

Campus, Infrastructure it's big big college
Every Department like electronics, electrical, CS,Ai have its each separate building
An autonomous institute, computer labs have enough computers

Dislikes

Fees structure for open like SC has only 100rs and open has 107000

Placement Experience:

After 7,8 semester students are eligible for interview Above 85% have placed last year highest package was 18LPA my plan is if I got a good package job then I'll take but if not I will go for higher studies

Likes

Collage teaching staff is very good.. Teacher is friendly
Campus placement is very good more than 90% students got selected
Library also good lots of book available

Dislikes

College canteen is not good and food is not good
Boys hostel problem boys hostel are temperory closed

After complete 8 semester exam ..campus placement is start from collage.. Collage collab more than 50 MNC companies... 75% student got selected in campus placement College offers ME course in college...

Campus of college is very good. All facilities are available

Compared to other collages the job opportunities is lesser
Placements are there but still not as much asa needed

About placements, it's 3-4 lacs per annum if we talk about average.top recruiter are from TCS ,Wipro,HCL and more.placements process including pre placement talks and orientation,resume Screening and shortlisting,there are some written tests and technical interviews

Things to know before taking admission in Government College of Engineering Amravati

Likes

First of all even it is a government College but the ambience of college is much better than other College
Placements in cS it department are very better than other departments
You will get library benifits if u git admitted in college

Dislikes

Old structure of college and dont have their own cultural hall
Staffs will take things on ego if you contradict with them
Hostel are so much older that when we used to stay the celing was collapsing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Talking about the curriculum, it was very managed but a bit old they would have improve it as per the requirement of todays world. They should have taught us how to build a career from this specific department and how you will be useful to the world exams used to be a quite difficult in the ends and Mr but you need test used to be Les difficult and more scoring

Our college had a great and experienced teaching staff
College infrastructure is really good with number of tress.
Placement are really good with average package of 450000

Dislikes

The attendance should be more than 75 percent
Parking road of college could be better.
The rule of attendance should remove for students.

Events. Josh is the biggest event in Amravati
They also focus on soft skill development

The attendance is not compulsory for students
Criteria of admission is low so lot of low people also get entered
Lack of sports events in college and events
