Reminiscing College Days

Likes

It's location. The college was conveniently located close to all modes of public transportation, making it easier to reach for internship jobs & media projects.
Faculty/Staff - Our professors always prompted us to take on media projects, to get involved hands-on in the working of magazines, newspapers, ad films, short films, product marketing, etc.
The college is for people of all ages and from all walks of life. They also have a night school where working people can learn to pursue unfinished education.

Dislikes

The small campus - considering the amount of students, the campus is very small, there's no cafeteria, no space for projects - the infrastructure is beautiful but too compact.

Placement Experience:

There were cmapus placements but not very enticing. Since I already had a full-time job with BBC GoodFood India Magazine as i already cracked this job first in my college.

The atmosphere of college is very good the infrastructure is nice faculty and management are helpful and good

We received intership and job opportunity in the past from - good grains- for content creator and account and data entry executive, hsbc bank- financial analysis position, kalki fashion - fashion host, hdfc life insurance company for internship programme etc

Likes

Security is well maintained in our college
Washroom are cleans and clean in one hour
Water facilities given by them hot and cold water

Dislikes

Lectures timeing are not convenient to many students
Campus is not big so small area are there
Canteen facilities is not good as should be

College do our placements with having a placement cell units in our college they offer us good package as to start your carrier as a fresher 3 lakhs to 5 lakhs per annum they get in there placement got many students of previous

It is a good thing that there is no ragging in college.
Students have very good relations with their teachers.

Dislikes

crowd is not very competative which is not quite good

Internships Opportunities:

I don't have much idea about such campus placements yet, but I do know that an average of 3LPA is offered and Air India generally has 100% placement, so it's good overall. I have not yet seen my seniors showing any dissatisfaction regarding placement.

College faculty , they guide with patience and correct us with kindness
Co-ordinator is very co-operative and managers our workshops and seminars, short films very well
Class teachers just don't teach from book but with heart

Dislikes

Canteen menu is very small need to be extended
Placements are limited for children so it is
Small library , the place for sitting area is small

Internships Opportunities:

We have limited opportunity for internships for BAMMC students, students are offered general internships in marketing and sales , advertising industry, companies kalki fashion, hadfc life insurance company etc.

Program structure with suitable modules that provides a base to higher studies
Extra-curricular events & courses such as Birds of Mumbai, Concology, Cosmetology, etc
Real-life experience at Gir Forest, Bird sanctuary, Beaches & Matheran hill station

Dislikes

Maximum theoretical learning pattern as compared to practical study
Limited lab experiments likely due to unavailability of required instruments & machines.
Few Out-dated curricula that fails to meet modern issues.

Internships Opportunities:

There are monthly camp set-ups at the university for different departments with internship opportunities & volunteering with the NGOs for courses like zoology. I had a great time volunteering at cats care progroam at maheshwari udyan, it gave me experience in animal care & behaviour field.

The wholesome experience of my college

The thing I liked about the college was the teachers and staff support coz they helped me and many students even after the lectures and college was over and helped us by taking extra lectures from their side
The function they carry and introduce is one of the craziest and enjoyful experience I had from any other College I know about
They even say us to participate in others college events to increase our skills and knowledge to improve our career score

Dislikes

I think the thing I disliked was just that sometimes classrooms were not available for mine course which I had taken
Sometimes the College punes misbehaves with us
Some rude staff was also a thing I disliked about

Placement Experience:

From 6 sem th students are eligible for campus placement, there were many companies which gave the placement in this college like eg infosys, biochroma, thakur polytechnic etcthe higesh package was about 11 lpa and average was about 5 lpa , about 80 percent students got the placements but my plan after getting the degree was to do masters

I like the faculty as the faculty is supportive and approachable we can reach out to them very eaily and ask them wuestions they are very helpful
They have facilities such as canteen good air conditioned classrooms and library
We can arrange extra lectures if we need by just adking the teachers for it and they work on it they are a bit flexible on due dates they give us extra time even if the due date to submit ang fo ument or anything is exceeded

Dislikes

The canteen area doesnt seem very hygienic to me i dont think its very trustable to eat there
The extra fees charged to every student that too in cash compulsorily
The campus area is very small to be honest there is no campus area it is just a building

Placement Experience:

After the second semester students can apply for internship which is also provided by the college the college provides campus placement which can be availed by th students the judges from the high court also visit the colleges and opportunity is given to the students to consult with them thr stidents can also apply for internship individually on thier own the college give mid size placements do not expect much

My overall experience at the college has been positive because it gives enough opportunities to grow if you actively participate. The academic environment is serious but not suffocating. Good teachers are approachable and genuinely try to help beyond
Faculty quality is mixed but mostly competent. Some professors teach in a very practical and engaging way, using real examples and encouraging questions. Others are more traditional and theory-heavy, so self-study becomes important in those subjects.
