NEHU MA Economics: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

NEHU is recognized for its strong faculty-student relationships and professional support, with a commendable teacher-student ratio of 1:16, ranking 2nd in the QS World University Ranking for this metric. The university has 44 departments, with Economics, Education, and English receiving positive reviews. The examination system is rigorous, featuring internal exams worth 25 marks and end-semester exams worth 75 marks, although the syllabus is seen as outdated. Currently, no departments offer formal placement services, but there are significant placement opportunities, especially for government and banking jobs, as well as numerous internships, particularly for B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA students.
