My journey to the college that provides knowledge and opportunities

Likes

The college classrooms should be built because we have less classroom n we take turns to attend the class such as first n second shifts classes
We have a normal size campus and the teachers are well experienced and have a good teaching methods. We also take up some scheme for skill development, vocational education or training
Lots of clubs for personal development n professional development like learning business skills, crafts etc

Dislikes

Limited classroom which should provided or build
Water shortages in the washroom n unsanitized
Less co- curricular activities in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Sociology curriculum is quite relevant as it covers both theory and real-life issues, which helped me choose this course. It prepares us well for research and future careers, though adding more fieldwork and practical exposure would make it even better. Exams are held on time and are of a fair difficulty level.

Review on my college

Likes

Faculty members are very good in teaching
College campus is very good for the students to learn and study
The principal and vice principal takes good care of the college

Dislikes

The students washroom is very dirty and it's unhygienic
Continues four hour class and theres no break in between
There's no sufficient water in the washroom for the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Sociology is something where we can learn more about the society and their culture.i believe studying sociology will help me understand more about our society and their. Culture which will help me in further academic pursuits. But i believe that making program's or going for tour to see and learn more about other cultures will help the students learn more

My experience in BAPTIST COLLEGE KOHIMA, NAGALAND

Likes

The social interaction in the college campus was really good as everyone was friendly and easy to get with.
There is absolutely zero cases of ragging in the college and no racial discrimination.
The events in the college was so fun and productive.

Dislikes

The uniform should be worn regularly as almost half of the students use other outfit instead of uniform.
The student council should improve and be focused on college development.
The use of tobacco products or sale of these products should be prohibited within 100 meters in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I selected my main course as history because it was a really interesting course for me and this course was all about real world history so it was really fun to study. The overall teacher methods was grade A in my opinion. We had monthly tests and surprise test in order to prepare us for exams.

An observation form my side..

Likes

The college provides bus which is really good.. for the day scholar
Their are Various programs held in the college which is a very good opportunity for the students to showcase their skills or talents and also there are program in which resource person comes and share their thoughts.
The college environment is really good.. as it is filled with tress,flowers etc... it's refreshing to freshen our minds too

Dislikes

But though they provide bus .. the time is also very inconvenient.. the college needs more bus as the number of students are increasing.
The toilets are not good.. it needs to be developed
They don't have the best scientific equipment for labs.

The curriculum course are good .. as not for me .. the ones im interested in are not there... But for the others it has benefited alot of the students .. They should add various more course curriculum The exams timings are fine...

Insight of my college

Likes

Social interaction between the professors and the students is very keenly promoted which helps students like me and others to grow during the tenure
The faculty of this college is one of the best in the state with high level of professionalism seen in the teachings and the code of conduct in the college
Another great feature about this college is the success of the students seen in the students who have graduated from here

Dislikes

Other than the faculties, the staff's that works in the admission branch are very rude towards the students and often they don't care about the complaints that we make and ignore us even if we call out to them for clearing our doubts.
Although the college does not lack in professionalism. It certainly lacks a lot in the field of facility such as good infrastructure and facilities for practical teachings.
Another thing is the lack of cleanliness of the washroom in the college and poor water supply facility in the washroom where water is a necessity to maintain a clean hygiene atmosphere in the washroom to do our needs without worrying about hygiene.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason for which I chose the crouse of history was for my own interest in history itself. I was always interested in history as early as in my 2nd grade, I would also like to learn more and this eventually led me to take history Hons. As I'm expecting to become an archaeologist in order to learn the truth and uncover the mysteries that are still unsolved to this day, however that is not the only reason as to why this course this course also lets me to become more aware of myself and what I say to others and think is philosophical ways to improve myself

The teachers are very well educated with their topics
The canteen price structure is friendly for students
The college all in all is very student friendly

Dislikes

The water scarcity for its use in bathroom
The gap between the office bearers and lectures making it hard for us to access information
Lack of classrooms ,making it unable to attend some classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I choose this course is because it is very relatable and useful in today's political world In a way yes,the course does repare us for the real world laws however ,it's application in today's world is not effective Field trips or learning by engaging Timing is usually either 2/3 hours

Dislikes

The canteen services are poor as compared to the prices of the menu
The campus does not have much of the surroundings
Distance in relationship between science and arts students

Likes

Comfortable and big classroom, available of water
The presence of projector in each classroom
Lecturers are well educated and friendly

Dislikes

No availability and lack of bus services
No funds and no progress of any work for students
The ones in offices doesn't know or care what the students faces

Course Curriculum Overview:

Its was not a great decision i made regrading the course i took. The timing for exam is good which is normally at 9 but the routine is terrible it doesnt have any gap in between the main couse otherwise its good

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took History as my main paper because it helps even while appearing for competitive exams and all. Taking as history help me learn alot to get ready with the real world challenges. As i keep going learning and learning and that's all matters. I went to college to persue my higher knowledge so it will keep going on and on. Our course is fine as we studied different course every semester. In exam we received 3 hours to write for pir exam.

Not perfect but worth it

Likes

I like the teaching of the teachers . They give us very much knowledge about the subject they are teaching.
Meeting new people , making friends and connecting with like minded individuals
Having access to knowledgeable and supportive professor

Dislikes

I don't like the smell of bathroom it need to be clean
They need to provide more transportation to the students
Limited courses option. It can be disappointing if you have specific interest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If i were to rate i would rate like 6 /10 because it the subject i choose from the first place. For me it was an interesting subject because it give us much knowledge about the history and the present modern society.
