According to me teacher has good knowledge and good teaching experiences
Annual functions are celebrated there for example nurses week they celebrated in campus and teachers day.. and festivals are being celebrated library includes all the books related to your studies modern infrastructure with modern equipments.
Fee structure is easily affordable for all classes.. complete course of education of 4 years includes 2 lakh scholarship is given on your annual performance campus even provides internships as well as campus placements from very good hospitals

Dislikes

Basically the hostel which is provided by the college is the worst place ever seen it is located outside the college campus specially (boys hostel) which is not best part there are lot of available near gne college
The food is too bad in hostel , it's not able to eat , student suffering so much problem
We have provide a three bedroom in a room.three table, three chair ,and a almirah meal quality of mess is too worst college provide two times meal lunch and dinner.

Faculty is too good, understanding and helping.
Fee structure of this also very very good.
Two months of internship one month in hospital and other in industry

Dislikes

College infrastructure but this is govt. College so no issues
Hostel is not available for pharmacy students
Only pgs are available for us which is too expensive

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is too good little bit tough but if you study with full concentration then you definitely go for this course. Exam set from only and only syllabus. There are no chances for out of syllabus questions.

Brief review of GMC Amritsar

Likes

Ground is vast there's a sports complex along with gym and swimming pool and tennis and other games
Good exposure, excellent in academics , amazing Teachers and seniors
There's a 24 hour open canteen in hospital

Dislikes

Fee structure is quite high compared to colleges in other states
Classroom are small for the batch size, repair is going on every now and then
Hostels and mess are old and nasty and sometimes unhygienic

The curriculum is most elaborate and widely renowned is formed by the guidelines of NMC. Clinical as well pre clinical studies are taught by 19 different departments Exam are conducted frequently and periodically

Summing up CDC

Likes

You get a good hands on experience as patient glow is good
Medical college is also nearby so you get to see good cases in oral surgery dept
The faculty is always there to support and guide you

In the Initial years, you get to have a balance between curricular and extracurricular activities but in the final year, it becomes difficult to manage both as you have to go for patient hunting when sometimes patient flow becomes less.

It is a beautiful university for education located in the faridkot, punjab. Along with having high class faculties
BFUHS emphasises research and innovation providing students with opportunities to engaged in significant medical and health care activities

Dislikes

with large number of students enrolling each year for their respective courses can lead to the overcrowding in this place
This is the first matter of concern for this place. There is very less or a negligible growth in infrastructure

MY WORK IS FOR A KING

Likes

Teaching Staff is blessed with amazing teaching skills. Different teaching methods are used to clear tye concepts of the students.
Clinical postings helps to improve hand skills of the students from 3rd year itself.
Patient flow is good giving more hands on experience to undergraduates.

Dislikes

Long college hours from 8-5. Difficult to devote time for studies after 5.
Managing studies and clinics at the same time become difficult
Student accommodation needs more improvement

The curriculum prepares all the students well for the real world applications. Every month we have speakers coming and giving insights to the students of the future opportunities in dentistry and encouraging them with their real life stories sharing their struggles and providing ways to overcome them.

Likes

The way teachers teach without any partiality and making things easier for us to understand
Here along with education they give equal exposure to other cocurricular activities
The amount of patient flow is very good here

Dislikes

The college timings are very hectic that don't leave us with personal time
Sometimes the environment is very stressful

At first I didn't like dentistry, bt this college changed my whole perspective. We get to know that dentistry is not only about mouth but facial structures also. The only thing is the level of exams is very high that it becomes very difficult to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

College follows curriculum prescribed by DCI. In total 19 subjects are taught over a course of 4 years. Students start treating patients from third year itself. Frequent exams and tests are conducted by college for timely evaluation.

A journey to medical college

Likes

Ambience,facilities provided there is best and all the classes have been provided with air conditioning.
They provide clinical training’s in best hospitals and also provide internship

Dislikes

Many of the classes were incredibly demanding and required countless hours of studying

I have interest in this field that's why this is my main choice to decide this course.there is difficulty level in this degree because we have to prepare for mbbs subjects too .we do have to study mbbs subjects too with our physiotherapy subjects and practically it requires skill more

College life at GMC

Likes

I liked the campus built. The building is very big and it has many grounds. There are football, cricket, basketball, handball grounds.
I liked the size of the campus and cleanliness. Also, it is the oldest college in Punjab, so many experienced faculty menbers are present.

Dislikes

I don't like the hostels. They are very dirty. The washrooms are not well equipped. There is no hygiene. The mess food is terrible.
I don't like the fee structure. There is separate fee for everything. No facilities are provided.
I hate the lecture theatres. There are no Acs. The capacity is 150 and we 250 are accomodated there

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very well made according to our needs. In the beginning, we had a foundation course which was very helpful and relevant to us. The topics are explained in details. We also visit hospitals for practical knowledge and clinical exposure. The exams are held yearly and the difficulty level is high.

True story or government mbbs

I like the campus itself. It is huge and is historically built, using red bricks- the ultimate symbol of amritsar. The campus has a huge ground. It caters to various games like cricket, football, basketball, tennis,handball etc.
It also has a newly built sports complex- CISCO that has table tennis, board games, dart games, swimming pool and gym. The fee is also nominal- 300 per month. I also like the faculty members since they are highly educated and professionals.
The campus also has a huge hospital attached- Guru nanak hospital for providing exposure to children. The locality of the campus is also great since it is near Lawrence road- the most popular in town.

Dislikes

I disliked the low level of management in the campus. The campus is not very clean and buildings are not maintained properly. The major problem here is the huge fees. It is about 2 lakhs per annum with 10% increase.
We also have a huge hostel fee, mess fee, ac fee and fridge fee. I believe that the facilities provided are not justified with the huge fee that they take. The social life is not very great because we have very less fests here.
The faculty is good but many of them don't teach well, they just read ppts. Also, the stipend we get in internship is only 15000. This is not enough for the basic needs also. The college really needs to improve the lecture theaters as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it is a highly professional degree that is worldwide demanded and respected. The curriculum is well-designed. We are taught theoretically as well as given early clinical exposures in the actual hospital. The curriculum is very relevant to what is needed as a doctor. Improvement can be made in the Anatomy department- dissection of the bodies should be mandatory for students. Other departments should have more specimens and practical studies. Hospital exposure should be increased. Disease should be taught with live examples in hospitals. All in all, practical study should be enhanced. We majorly have final exams that are the most important. We do have 1st term and mid-term exams, but they aren't considered in the final result. The difficulty level is high in the finals. It is very difficult to even pass the tests. But that is very well required to bring out good doctors.
