The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

All about Chandigarh University

Likes

Campus of university is very awesome and sports are also available

Dislikes

There are no air conditioners or chillers in the class room . This is big problem during summers

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just fine . It's not that good . You just need to study yourself after college hours . The college ends at 4 30 so you need to study after that . There are few subjects that are not thata important .

The first thing that I like is campus, university is so huge , beautifully and eye catching with well maintained labs, classroom and libraries.
University provide a liberary in every building, and in every building has only related course books.
There are so many facilities for the students like WiFi connection, students can cannot with WiFi any time they want.

Dislikes

I saw that in ohter collages if the teacher is absent it's means the class is free but in CU they adjusted another teacher for the free class !

Placement Experience:

The students those who are in 6th semester gbey are eligible for the placement if s student hot palced they started worked There along with studies. students need te maintain the cgp minimum 7 to 9 to got placed. Only these students can sit in the placement. CU said that there are 150+ companies visit every year for the placement . I'm now' in second year I have never seen a placement event, but I have heard that regarding placement tehy claim that CU have 100% placement record but the truth is only some of the students got placed, some service based companies like TCS , Wipro who's doesn't give anything beyond 20 to 25kper month.

One of the top universities you can opt for the better in hand placements. Placements in our college are the best.

Dislikes

Theoretical knowledge is focus on more than the practical knowledge which is not good.
Campus can be quite boring sometimes as there isn't enough activities to entertain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is useful. Semester exams in our course are not very difficult if someone has been continuous in his semester studies, so they can easily pass the semester with good grades.They are very friendly with the students, and above all, they are very hardworking, one can clear their doubts to anyone in the faculty anytime

Faculty members are well equipped with knowledge and have very good previous experience of teaching.
Campus environment is quite good.Newly Constructed building for this course students is beautiful and have in house stationary shop.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not good they are charging almost half and a lakh per annum but not giving services accordingly.
The food courts inside the campus are quite expensive and some places are unhygienic. But there are some outlets like Dominos, Lapinoz, and Burgrill are also there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

They include all the relevant subjects to enhance the student's knowledge and skills in this specific stream. They divided each subject into three units which include sub-units, after completion of each unit MST will be conducted, and after the completion of all the units End Sem exams will be conducted. Teachers use aids to deliver their knowledge in the best possible way. They use visual presentations and practical applications of the same in labs. After completion of the first year, You have to choose a specialization in which you further want to continue your course. they offer specialization in clinical and Sports nutrition.

"My Honest Experience in Chandigarh University"

Likes

Environment of the college is nice and the campus gardens.
Student from different diversities are there in our university.
Infrastructure is very nice and new setup of classes.

Dislikes

Teaching is not upto the mark. Irrelevant type of teaching is there.
Most of the teachers are new joiners and don't know about anything.
Too much extra work load like worksheets, assignments and all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is also not upto the mark and kind of outdated. The syllabus is followed since 10 or more years and there are no improvements and updation in the sylaabus of any branch in Chandigarh University.

Chandigarh University, kind of okay.

Placement Experience:

The campus does provide placement as the season of recession is around us there are less job but are college is very pulling all the strings they can and getting up the jobs needed college is having the most number of companies within the state just to provide student a chance to apply for the jobs. But they are too many students which makes the selection process more challenging.

Elevating Education:A comprehensive review of my college experience.

Likes

Practical knowledge which strengthens the knowledge of the course offered
Experienced and understanding faculties to help you with the subjects offered
College campus is green and beautiful with many shops are available for stationary items,food and more

Dislikes

Labs infrastructure should be developed more so that we can work on more projects
Some facilities like lift services and in campus shuttle services can be availed by only international students and they don’t allow indian students

Placement Experience:

For placement opportunities students must take TPP courses for 3 semester which costs Rs.10000 without taking TPP no one can sit in placement drives. My plans are to go for masters which is crucial in this field. Average placement package in our department is 4.5-6 LPA but getting placement is very difficult not much companies visit

A overall view on college

Likes

The cleanliness that we can see in the campus
The Cost at which the facilities are provided
The good teachers and their approachble and friendly behaviour

Dislikes

The administration and the way the issues are handled by going from one place to other
The managemnet is also not good in adreesing the issues
The attendance criteria that they impose ireespective of the interest pf students on any field

Placement Experience:

Placement starts from 5th sem and companies come for intership and ppo the companies that come here have salary from 5 lakhs to 40 lakhs student can opt depending on its merit and interest in the profile

Chandigarh University honest review.

I like the academic disciplines of this university. The management of Chandigarh University is very good. They managed mass of students in very right way.
The teaching staff of the Chandigarh University is very nice. The professors are very helpful in nature.
The marking system of the Chandigarh University is relative marking so it make you to compete with all the students in University.

Dislikes

The 75% attendance criteria is, I think a big problem for the students.
The summer term after the 2nd year. Is very annoying for the students.
The university is not provided any internship program and the placement company are not very big MNCs.

Placement Experience:

The placement situation of the CU is not very good. There are 90-100 company are came to campus every year. The company like TCS, Infosys, deloiy, and more similar company comes in CU. And they conduct test round and select students. The mass recruiter are TCS and Accenture like companies. There are 10000-120000 total students are there but only 900-1000 students got placed from campus. And the other are off campus and by own .so in simple words. Placement is not very good. It depends on your hard work.

student placement is depend on their skills mainly student placed in 4th year but If your skills are eligible for the company then you can apply it. Most of the Companies required minimum 75 CGPA in the course.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
