Great College | Great Environment | Average Placements

Semester wise fees. 2 semesters per year, 210000 average per semester. Includes tuition, development, and health related charges. Top 10% students get scholarship anywhere from 25% to 100% on the fees. Hostel fees is additional, Rs. 50000 approx per semester for stay and about 25k for mess fees every semester. Additional financial aids and scholarships available to economically weaker sections. No financial benefits for people belonging to the reserves classes or Punjab Quota.

Everything You Need To Know about Thapar Unviersity

The fee structure of thapar is around 6 lakh per annum including hostel and mess fees for each semester, this makes a total of around 24-25 lakhs for this bachelor's degree. Scholarship is provided on the basis of CGPA. The set criteria for scholarship is above 8 CGPA. The Tution fees, registration fees and oother fees are available on thapar's offcial website and one can check from there. The admission criteria includes reservation system and a reserved quota for Inside Punjab students.

Thapar - the private college mafia

The fees stuructre is semester wise, it is inclusive of Development Fees, Tution Fees, Hostel & Mess Fees and other charges. Scholarship is provided to top 20 students or so in each branch based on their CGPA. The college provides either full TA waiver or TA/2 fees waiver.

Scholarships are provided to studnets on various basis . The scholarship are also available for girl child. there are vairous scholarship based on family income .the fees is comparatively very high . But it's worth the hype. The placements are very good . Internship are provided to studnet based upon their capabilities and hardwork.

All you need to know as a first year student in Thapar University

Fees has been hiked recently and I dont think that was an good decision as there are many students who are not able to afford this sum of money. There are different types of scholarships available and there is a department called 'Financial department' wher you can visit for any finanial guidance. Personally I am in 1st year so I dont know much about the placement procedure but as I talk to some seniors they say that the average package companies offer are above 10 lakhs per year and also the internship provided by university gives atleast 12,000 of stipend.

Thapar The amazing destination

The cost here is pretty high. But The campus is good. And professors are also good. Scholarships are there but I didn't get it since my marks were not enough. Scholarships can be availed next year too by keeping the capacity high.

Thapar at its best

The fee hike depends upon the course, the better the course higher the fee structure. The best part of the fee structure is that it will remain the same for 4 years since admission. Thapar is very helpful and flexible with fee payment timings.

One of the most expensive engineering college,

The fee structure is quite expensive I must say. A few people can afford it only, if not aided with an education loan. I personally have not taken any loan as such to aid my finances. The college provides around 1-1.5 lac scholarships to the top 10% of students of each branch annually.

My Journey at TIET

There was a fee hike of 10% after each year. The Total cost of studying in college was around 13 Lakhs without including the hostel fee in 2021. There was financial assistance for 10% of the class with a fee waiver of 50%.
