NLU Jodhpur Scholarship 2026: Amount, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

NLUJ: is the prestige only at face value or is there more than meets the eye??

Fees and Financial Aid:

The total fees for a first semester student is 153000, this is increased by a ?5000/- per year every semester for the Undergrafute course of 5 years. The Tution fees in NLU Jodhpur is 80000, the admission fee is 12000, the rest is 44000 and the refundable security is 17000. There is no difference in Fee for students of SC/ST/OBC category and the students of general category and all pay an approximate of 300000. There is an NRI category and their fee is 12,00,000 per annum with a refundable security of 17,000. There are multiple scholarships with one being the Aditya Birla Scolarship which is provided by the Aditya Birla foundation to students of the Top 5 nlu with the highest CLAT rank in their particular NLU. There is also the Kotak Kenya Scolarship which is offered to girl children who scored more than 75% in their board examinations and who's household income is less than 15,00,000 per annum. My course is not exactly very affordable but thanks to multiple scholarships schemes, this has been made possible for people belonging to the EWS category

About National Law University, Jodhpur

Fees is taken per semester which is 1.5 lakhs. Total fee of one year at college is 3 lakhs approx. We do not have a mess system. It's more like a canteen where we pay and eat. However our mess committee might soon bring a reform in this aspect.

NLU-J the rising sun in the field of law.

The fees per annum are around 1.80 lakh excluding your expenditure on food, which may however between Rs.35000 to Rs.50000. The placements are basically categorized as day zero placements and placements after that. Day zero placement happens in the fourth year when the big 7 law firms recruit. The big 7 law firms pay a starting package of more than Rs.12 lakhs. In 2022, 46 students got placed out of 50 who applied. The highest salary by Indian firms is usually 18lakhs per annum, while for the foreign firms it is around 44 lakhs per annum.

At NLU Jodhpur we have a few scholarships and financial assistance programs for Students. NLU Jodhpur itself provides its scholarship program apart from this there are various memorial scholarship programs through which you can partially or completely cover your tuition fee. For students who are financially e week, the organization named IDIA provides complete financial support for tuition fees as well as other expenses such as hostel fees and food expenses.

College Review

Though our college is recognised by State Government of Rajasthan but it runs independently and totally on its own earnings. Therefore, the college does not provide any scholarship per se. But top 20 rankers of our colleger are qualified for applying for Aditya Birla Scholarship. As our college is prestigious and well ranked college, therefore getting education loan is very easy for the students.

I have not come to know about such scholarship schemes. As there is no such schemes offered by the college. You need to come with your own caliber. The fees are basic so there is no such schemes of scholarship.

Law and lawl

Scholarship is offered to students from backward community and minorities with regard to ones financial capacity. Students of Rajasthan domicile also get other scholarship. Being a reputed college, a student a get loan sanctioned from almost all recognised banks.

Law School destiny.

The NLUJ Scholarship is for those who are both economically disadvantage and academically excellent. Loan facility is available too. Otherwise, the college is associated with IDIA, which assists economically and socially disadvantages students to study for clat, and in their law school fees as well.
