The university offers a variety of scholarships based on merit, economic conditions, and caste, significantly aiding students who cannot afford their fees. Scholarships are available for M.Sc and Ph.D. students, including ICAR scholarships for JRF/SRF achievers and social welfare scholarships for SC/ST/Backward classes. The Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST students provides Rs. 300 per month plus Rs. 750 annually for 240 students each year through ICAR. Merit cum Means Scholarships offer Rs.
500 per month for undergraduates with a parental income below Rs. 1 lakh. National Talent Scholarships provide Rs. 1000 per month for undergraduates studying outside their domicile state, selected through ICAR/VCI Entrance Exams. Additionally, state and NGO-provided scholarships exist, including a Rs. 12,000 annual scholarship for girls from the state government. In terms of fees, normal seat fees range from Rs. 15,000 per semester, while payment seat fees can go up to Rs.
45,000 to Rs. 1 lakh per semester. Hostel fees typically range from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 7,000 per semester. The university also provides scholarships for exceptional sports talents and economically weaker sections. Fee hikes are capped at 10% annually, and the total cost of education, including hostel fees, is approximately Rs. 2 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh over the duration of the program.
