Likes

The faculty are well experienced and they try their best to give their most to the students by utilising the most of the resources available.
The fee structure varies from course to course and scholarship is provided by ugc and state governments and the university also provides certain incentives for meritorious students and there are employment opportunities if one is qualified for the post.
The campus life was great, we had a huge library, canteen to hang out, read and get connected with students from other departments.

Dislikes

Every year a sports event is held known as ramilo sukhim but we have to go to different places for each event due to lack if campus facilities.
The management department is in such place where there is no canteen of shops near by.
No proper campus, classes, hostels and programs run on rented buildings which delay implementation of new facilities or schemes

HIMALAYAN PHARMACY INSTITUTE

Placement Experience:

Placement starts at the last year 8th semester. And there is 99% placement rate. Many Pharma companies like Zuventus, alpha Pharma etc visits the college. Avg package of 5 LPA. My plan is to do Masters after Bachelors.

College is just for study, hostel is fun

Likes

The faculty, they try their best to make us understand
Library, all kinds of books are available here
Classroom, the classroom is quite large and all the students can listen to teacher nicely

Dislikes

Uniform. I didn't like the colour of the uniform
Food, the food you have to accomodate but it's really oily and the lunch food is not good
Campus, the campus is really small with no ground

Placement Experience:

Maintain a good cgpa through out your college years and be confident during interview in the college campus. Some of our seniors have even got jobs as a pharmacist in govt hospitals. And some seniors got into top pharmaceutical industries.

Course included BA honours with environments science and English as a optional subject and we have honors subjects as political Science history and English in BA all faculty is well educated manily they studied out of state. totally 6 semester difficult level is not too

The friends who were very helpful in nature
The faculty member who were very much supportive
The best part was our college uniform my favorite part

Dislikes

The play ground should be more bigger and more sports facilities should be there
There should be more numbers of classrooms
They should not ask extra fees rather than the course fee

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because from my childhood only I had a dream to become a professional teacher. The lecturers were so much motivating they really made a great impact in my life, there were total of 100 seats per session. The faculty members were highly qualified and experienced. They really did inspired me for teaching by copying their teaching method. The term examination were conducted by 6 months which is semester wise. Total of 4 semester were there. And talking about the difficulties with the examination is I believe it depends on us how seriously we are taking it.

I love the hostel infrastructure as it is very comfortable for every student . Foods arre proper and in perfect taste . Snacks timing are perfect and they take proper care of our diet. No problem in hostel. There are attendance timing also in hostell

I choose this course to become CA. Students ratio is more than 5000 students.teaching method are average. Term exams are very tough . Term exam are held in very short period of time which cause problems beacuse we don't get enough time to study.

Likes

15+ pharma companys are in Sikkim. Job faculty is good & Placement also.
Beautiful garden in our college campus. Clean weather.
Campus is good. Beautiful trees are there.

Dislikes

Campus is too small. Other colleges campus is bigger then our college.
There is no canteen in our college which is so boring.
Auditorium hall to small. The college is located in a short place.

Because of my father's Business & I want to do job in pharma company. 60% Boys & 40% girls. Teaching with good way & qualifications are also good. In one semester(6 months) there are two internal Exam & one semester exam & 50% number is needed in each & every subject to pass.

My overall experience was really fun and stimulating , I loved the friends and faculty members i got to meet there. There were all very supportive of each other.
The Campus life was great, we had a huge library, canteen to hang out, read and get connected with students from other departments.
there are no job placements unfortunately but the infrastructure of the university and classrooms are great. the course structure is well crafted, there are lots of things included that will further enhance the learning process.e is enriching and

Dislikes

The one thing i found a bit troublesome was that we do not have a proper campus as of now. But the campus is coming up and it is huge with lots of amenities.

I chose this course because I was interested in pursuing my Masters's with English Hons. The faculty members were all intellectual and supportive. The strength of my class was 38. Our HOD was Prof. Rosy Chamling, who is also the Dean School of Language and Literature. The exams took place twice in a year with four sessionals and two semesters.

Why should this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a pharmacist. The ratio of faculty: to students is 1:60. Faculties are highly qualified and their teaching methods are good. Term exams occur on time and it is quite difficult to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to take Tourism honors as it is one of my favorite subjects since I was studying in class 9. Is it a service-providing sector. The faculty out here are really outstanding. They guide us by providing notes by explaining every little word. They never miss their class. The exam's time was from 10;30-11;30. Questions were not that tough.
