- The college provides with much placements and cadetships as for my opted course if you maintain a good CGPA and no history of arrears
Dislikes
- The comparisons and politics which goes on and on for each position and power.
- The inequality they show at each cadets. At this university, if you’re a girl, they’ll provide you with everything.
- The hostels can be improved much better and the food too.
Placement Experience:
Campus Interviews are provided from the first year itself but of course as everywhere there is, there are politics here too. you should be really cunning so as to place in an interview as much as the CGPAs too.

- Wifi - enabled campus,anti-ragging squad,anti -drug Quality infrastructure
- Campus Life is good.They will train to be a good cadet which can be helpful in ship.
- They train as to be well disciplined and punctual and this will help in ship and life.They are providing better placement than any other maritime academy college.
Dislikes
- Some things like the campus is well maintained but good protection is needed.
- Hostel and accomodation has to be enabled.
- the campus is wifi enabled sometimes it cannot be used.
Course Curriculum Overview:
My way towards this course is very simple I was always fascinated by ships and it became my passion and then I thought why wouldn't turn my passion into a profession and I chose this profession . They provide us with discipline and punctuality so which helps us to learn life.

In Bsc Nautical Science Student are eligible for the placement from the starting of 3rd year if they don't have any arrear or back in their semester and if someone doesn't get the placement then they can directly approach to the company by mailing them their resume...

- I liked each and every thing about our college to be honest because it's depends on us to survive in a good or bad surrounding
- Management of amet University is good where they are not doing partiality.
- Our faculties are the best faculties. We got alot more inspiration from them. Specially our DSW .DR RAM KUMAR SIR IS BEST
Dislikes
- Mosquito preventative should be added more
- They should change COE OF EXAMINATION because he is not at all good talker. He is very rude
- They should change the dishes from south Indian to North Indian

No, our college placement department Is really working very hard to give everyone placement after the completion of our all semester also. And many Maersk line, synergy, dynacom, bergebulk, fleet management used to talk to many of our cadets

- The overall ranking of amet in NIRF ranking 2023 is 32

- Many students from many countries are placed in university
- Dress habits should not concentrate that much
- Mostly rich people will engage in the college
Placement Experience:
SRM institute appears to be generally good. According to best performance and more than 90% of previous year students got placed on campus . The college has a 95% placement rate. 9 out of 10 students are placed in their dream . Placement companies are Cognizant NTT DATA,ICIC Bank, ZOHO

- Faculties, Captains are way too good at teaching they teach with their experience.
- Curricular activity and sports are quite fun after a long hectic day.
- The way they teach you discipline, manners, time management, responsibilities, etc.
Dislikes
- Hostel rooms as they don't have proper ventilation
- Way too hectic schedule throughout the day
- Seniors are incharge of taking muster so some seniors take it as an advantage and gives us some extra punishments in order to satisfy the own personal grudges
Placement Experience:
Top companies like Mersk, V-ships, Wallem, Thome, MSC, MSI, etc. are collaborated with AMET University.
Our University has the best placement record of 80% each year. If you study hard and get above 9 CGPA there is a 90% of chance of your placement from Cllg itself.
In any case if you don't get placed you can fill the forms and get placed.
The pakage starts from 3LPA to 7LPA depending upon the company and type of ship alloted to you.
As I'm placed so after getting the degree I'll join my company after our waiting period n start earning.

- The things that i dont like inside the campus was they are not giving proper time inside library
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because I want to travel all over the world and experience different culture tradition languages and people. All the faculty members are well-experienced captains and navy officers.
The curriculum was entirely different from another engineering course we are studying about navigation marine laws climate types of vessels types of cargoes chart work etc.

Many companies visit amet for placement like mearsk,vships ,Kline,fleet etc and during 6th sem cadets will get chance In placement interview and nearly 80% of people get placement from college. And many people get placement even in 1st year in mearsk

Placement Experience:
The placement of amet is okay.
In the batch of 300, almost 150 cadets are placed with world-class companies.
Some companies who visited for the placement are. MAERSK LINE, BW SHIPPING, GOODWOOD SHIP MANAGEMENT, FLEET SHIP MANAGEMENT, NYK SHIP MANAGEMENT, CHEVRON, and lots more.
And every cadet gets placement in that company who gives around 500USD as a stipend and after that around 3000 USD.
Almost 50 to 60 percent of students get placed in amet.
As I am already placed by the world no. 1 shipping company MAERSK LINE so after completing my degree I will work for that company.

Placement Experience:
Campus placements are great here, from what I heard from senior batches is that everyone from their batch got placement.
So yes rest assured, if you are maintaining a good GPA and are having a good attendance record, then you will definitely get placed. There is a number of local and foreign companies which visit the campus every year.
Around 70-80% of students get placement in different companies around the world.
I am planning to get a placement in a renowned company (Maersk or synergy), and then after doing 2-3 years of job, I will leave the job on container ships and will move to join cruise ships.
