#76 out of 200 under “Overall Category”

#10 out of 100 universities under “Overall University Category”

Bharathiar University, a public university located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, has grown to be one of the best universities in India. Comparing its rank with the previous ranks it has improved drastically and has come a long way. Taking a comparative view of its rankings, it has been ranked 36^th Overall, 21^st in Universities and 38^th in Research by NIRF 2023. Bharathiar University was ranked 205 in Asian Universities and 36 among Southern Asia Universities by QS Global ranking 2023. Fourth semester eligibility to placements to this campus. This college campus world best Working platform for this college. 60 percentage of getting to placements. My plan is After Degree is owned by self Business.

The kitchen labs and other labs in this college its looks like similar to a hotel
good mentorship quality and the faculty's are very supportive
here we have 80% of practical calsses its gives practial knolege

Dislikes

this year record books and test books are reached very late

Internships Opportunities:

we have companies like tag group of hotels ,hilto,ITC,like more companys in there we get internships and placments and the internenship are very helpful for our knoledge improvement and skil improvement

My college provides more pratical learning which helps me to get real industry experience
In my college kitchen labs and service labs are well equipped for practical training
Faculty are friendly and approachable, which makes it easy for me to clear my doubts

Dislikes

College should provide more ODC for students which is more helpful
We are visiting IV which helps me to learn about the hotel. To learn more about the hotel the College should provide more opportunities for visiting IV (industrial visit)
Some Events are conducting in my college if they conduct More cultural events and student activities would make my campus life more engaging

Internships Opportunities:

In internship we have to work in all departments in every hotel We will get stipend like 5000 per month depends on the hotel may vary Hotels like itc, taj, accord, marriot, le meridein, grt Projects are given for final sen students

Likes

Course is good for me. We get more practical training which helps us understand how the hotel industry works
Teachers are friendly and helpful. They guide us in practical subjects like food production, service and front office etc., so it is easy to understand.
I like that our college gives ODC and part-time work opportunities. I attended some hotel events and it helped me learn practical work and also earn some money for my expenses.

Dislikes

Sometimes I feel the college can improve infrastructure and facilities more for students.
Campus activities and events can be increased more so students can enjoy college life better.
The odc can going 7 working days per 1 time so that is littly unsatisfied so reduce the time line that's will helpful for paying fees.

Internships Opportunities:

Internships has provided each student after 5 th semester The branded hotel is taj, marriot, hilton and itc they will provide India and international level. project also given final semester students guiding is properly for me

Infrastructure and atmosphere, library, access to all the digital services, books.
Friendly staffs and senior staff like HOD. Helpful teachers
Cleanliness and neatness maintained properly. Good food in canteen. Various options available

Dislikes

No proper placement for this course. Companies never approach this course - overqualified
No tuition or coaching for interviews while other courses received
Fees collected even in corona period while no learning was there.

My course is a five year course, so it had around 9 to 10 semesters as the first year had no semester. It was a non-semester. So first year had only one semester exam followed by all the other semesters other years at two semesters. From fifth year, students are eligible for campus placements During Covid time, our campus, Placement happened so companies visited are Shlok labs, some assignment writing company which is already closed now and some other start-ups which are not very famous and offer made us around 10,000 per month Highest package received is around 3.5,00,000 per year percentage of students getting Placement is very less only 30 to 40 percentage not even that much. I can say if we apply any companies directly, we will be placed but not through college and especially this course, but other courses are having very good opportunities. As this course recruiters will say it is over qualified.

Placement is very good and most of our us got placed
The social interaction and the campus life is very extraordinary in the college

Internships Opportunities:

In my area of study no Intenship arranged by college we need to see by ourselves in the last year of our graduation . It becomes hectic to find a nice company that suits our branch of study to do get experienced .

Likes

The big campus, infrastructure i like the most because Most of the time we spend on the big campus
Teaching method i like and technical like lab and coaching i also good
They well train students for sports and extra caricular activities

Dislikes

The campus is big but there is no garden or any place to cheer
There is only one small canteen when the break alram starts ringing everyone will run to canteen lots of crowd will be there

Internships Opportunities:

No i did not attend any of the interviews because i need to study masters in abroad and i completed many projects like 4 to 5 called Netflix data analysis ,java file manager,movie ticket analysis, and accident analysis and prevention system.

There is no ragging in campus ragging is strictly prohibited inside the campus
All of the students behave very friendly and both girls and boys work together
Seniors are very friendly and they help in if you feel any discuss situation they will help you

Dislikes

There is no freshers day and no any other cultural activities inside the in the campus only one cultural activity held every year once in a year
The infrastructure is not very good compared to any other colleges
Collage timings are not good. Early morning and late evening

Internships Opportunities:

In 9th semester we are eligible for internships . There are many companys available for us like PSG motors , Infosys , Microsoft , Google . We will do many projects in 2,3,4 years we will do many projects then these projects are submitted to those companies in 9th semester
