Ques. Is the MKU M.Sc. Physics entrance exam very competitive? What is the difficulty level?
Ans. The MKU entrance exam for M.Sc. Physics is of moderate difficulty, covering topics from B.Sc. Physics syllabus including Classical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Thermodynamics, Optics, and Mathematical Physics. The exam is objective type with a duration of 100 minutes. Since seats are limited to 36, competition can be significant, especially from students across Tamil Nadu and other states. Thorough revision of B.Sc. Physics fundamentals is recommended.
Ques. Does MKU M.Sc. Physics accept IIT JAM scores for admission?
Ans. No, MKU does not use IIT JAM scores for M.Sc. Physics admission. MKU conducts its own university-level entrance examination. However, students who have appeared for IIT JAM can still apply to MKU by appearing in the MKU entrance exam separately.
