Four years, One story: Life at Sathyabma

Likes

College Life was very memorable and helped us learn valuable life lessons
Academics was though in a very informative way
IV and Culturals were some highlights helped us remember our college days

Dislikes

Boys and Girls seperation in classrooms, culturals, etc
Can be very hot during summer days due to the less number of trees.

Internships Opportunities:

I am not sure about this , but companies like Logitech, WIPRO, Caterpillar, etc came in with internship oppurtunities to our college students with an average stipend of 35000 per month. Some internships were also turned into fte oppurtunities with a average salary of 400000 LPA.

Likes

College is well constructed and good atmosphere
Well experienced faculty’s with good intentions
The quality of food and buses provides free

Dislikes

The food provided in canteen and sitting near canteen is not good
Climate is too hot in class rooms and maintenance
Sports are not that conducted in the college

Internships Opportunities:

As I mentioned the internship opportunities are very important for the students and here we have lots of opportunities for students who want a job in their career and they can apply for jobs in the next few companies.

Likes

The College has green and great environment with good infrastructure.
The staff are so friendly with the students and staff make students to feel free around them
College provides free food and bus services for all students.

Dislikes

Internships Opportunities:

Many internship opportunities are provided through the campus with companies like Amazon, sonacomstar, sertel electronics , valeo , Mckensy etc offering roles in technical, quality and engineering domains with stipends.

Likes

Overall experience is in positive only one of the best part of my collage life was the exposure to various opportunities.
Regularly conducts activities and workshop and technical events that help students to gain some knowledge and enhance their skill.

Internships Opportunities:

I have got offer in the collage and I have completed internship in skillforage company and In placement training at collage they teach us to do project and tasks and give some experience in the collage

Why Sathyabama

Likes

Strong infrastructure with modern labs and clean campus environment. Active campus life with events and fest.Supportive faculty in all deprartments.Decent placement opportunities in IT sector.

Dislikes

Limited core job opportunities for non IT branches.

Internships Opportunities:

Institute of Science and Technology students get internship at Amazon TCS Infosys Wipro accenture cognizant startups as developers analyst with Stipend from 5K to 15k. Hands on exposture improve skills and boost placements.

Aspects Of College

Likes

Cultural activities are encouraged and are very lively
Good atmosphere and ambience is maintained
Infrastructure and maintenance is good and up to date

Dislikes

Not much trees and shade. Requires more plantations for more environment friendliness
Busses do not have Air conditioning and are crowded most of the times
No proper management of ventilation in certain blocks

Internships Opportunities:

There are many compaines who provide internship but you are required to clear a technical and interview round to be eligible for the internship whihc is provided and there are varied tike duration including 3 or 6 months inertnships that are provided.

Average College Experience at Sathyabama

Likes

The campus life and the college timing is pretty good.
Placement training was excellent for us to learn.
Opportunities to learn and socialize with many expertise all over India

Dislikes

The curriculum is not upto the standards.
The staffs are not as good as they say they are.
You have to learn on your own. The college has some good techs but poor staffs that these techs became a waste as we were never able to do these

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college is good. Average salary package is 5LPA. Companies like Amazon, JPmorgan, Virtusa, Accenture, HCL, Valeo, TCS and other major companies hire many students here. I heard more than 90% students were placed.

Likes

The infrastruture is very vast and well maintained.
The placements and their training are excellant .
The quality of teaching is very good and all the staffs are knowledgeble and friendly.

Dislikes

Internships Opportunities:

Amazon - 41.2 with a highest CTC Many core and IT companies provides placements with higher package ranging 8 LPA in and around roughly.Software and IT projects are always encouraged .The minimum CTC itself is 3 LPA

Likes

Infrastructure and vibe u know it was like in the movies it is quite posh
The peers they are varied diverse group of students
If u are in the diameter of 150km of college there is a free bus for u in campus for coming and going

Dislikes

Attendance is very hard to maintain if ur far from college
College shuts it gate down after 9am if u come inside u cannot go out until 3pm
They make u sign a contract affidavit but they itself break it's rule of u do something sketchy not a problem if u just come and do ur work and go

Placement Experience:

Some department offers no placement assistance like mine pharmacy department I don't know u but the departments which offers placements charges the students on top of placements but if u get placed it's good I saw a banner inside college stating 41.6 this year highest lpa

Balanced College with all Facilities.

Likes

I like the way of faculty treating the student most of the faculty stay calm and responsive at any moment
I like the canteen foods and it's affordable too.
I like my classroom that is more comfortable.

Dislikes

Thing i dislike the transport it's more focused , the bus are frequently changes.
Since the College is too big we need to walk and it's take time to react there.

Internships Opportunities:

Intership opportunites are offen coming in sathyabama campus to get that we need to pass all the exams and interviews. The company like amazom , humble tree, cognizant, TCS are taking students for internship in proper manner and also provide stipend upto 100000.
