Allahabad University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The syllabus was very lengthy & comprehensive & it was very difficult. The teachers used to teach in Hindi & as a student from English medium school I faced alot of difficulties in grasping the concept. Exams were held once a year & were very difficult.

After 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Tata TCS company visited in my University and many no. of offers made. Highest package is 10lakh and average package is 3lakh per annum. Around 40percent students getting placement. My plan is doing post graduation.

1- I can opt for any professional course after bcom or further I can pursue for masters too . 2- no such extra curricular activities are done by the college. 3-as extra curricular activities are not prepared for the students,the college should see towards it. 4- it is a three hour paper

The environment of the faculty and the campus is really cool and the professor are really very supportive and helpful. In the university most of the students came for the preparation of civil services exam such as UPSC, UPPSC etc. University takes exam on yearly basis and the difficulty level is moderate.

Since I've been opted for commerce background so yeah the teachings were very practical and enhanced with real life problems. Teachings can be improved by indulging students in more curricular activities. Exams are on yearly basis no monthly or half yearly exams are there.

I choose ba for several reasons because of I have some intrest in history and for some reason I can't be able to choose arts in 12 side then I choose to do ba and there are many advantages to do ba your base for any civil services will be prepared and why I don't know people in there mind have perspective that the student who do ba can do anything in there life they will sit in there life and and I think in ba there are no assignments and circular activities nothing only you to have to study your course there should be some activities in ba also and important think is that if your interest will be lost in your course then what advantage to take it and the exam of ba is heald year vise in one year you have to give one time there is no pressure to study in last of year students take guide which release before one month of exam and pass paper easily and I think paper should atleast seasonal or half yearly atleast we would have pressure to study our course and the timing of exam is good 3

I am targeting for Administrative jobs like UPSC that's why I have Targeted this course, curriculum prepares me in a better way for everything, there's a little need of change in courses because Sociology is not being targeted broadly in the course,

Ba has given me a vast variety of knowledge about different types of subjects Its prepares a lot because the knowledge is very useful for further guidance Using mic can improve in education Timing should be three hours but the dates should be given some gaps

I choose this course because I was more interested in history. I wanted to study the history of India and the world. One more thing that influenced me to choose this subject the was the variety of subjects it offers. While studying you can connect yourself to the real word. The teaching method of the teachers are very good . They all are master of their subjects. The questions are generally asked from the syllabus only so if you have studied the syllabus well and revised then you are going to get very good marks. One thing I would like to improved is that some teachers are very egoistic I want them to understand the situation of the students also and be kind and helpful towards the students.

This has wide scope in being a faculty or a college professor. It has wide range of other world knowledge as certain practicals are done and different fields can be opted like sports ,singing etc.Teaching method is nice. The exam was easy to moderate level.
