Bbau.. Yay or Nay

Likes

I really liked the atmosphere there. As it was calm , relaxing and least interruptive. Professors there were really attentive and helpful.
The faculty of BBAU is very experienced and the professors have a high quality teaching criteria.

Dislikes

I disliked the lab arrangement there. It could be more ethical and discoplined.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell of department is a little weak but the professors are always ready to tell us about the opportunities in various fields such as parasitology and sericulture. Also one can join project related research work after completing this degree.

Overview of Uni life

Likes

The infrastructure of the university is really good and huge with a lot of greenary around. It is completely environment friendly.
The library is really good and almost all the educational books and papers are available but only the students who are studying there can take the advantage of it. The library is completely fully air conditioned with no power cut.
The parking stand is really good. It is really helpful in summers as well as in rainy season for the vehicles.

Dislikes

The education system is not so good as they don't provide placement and no internships which is really important for the exposure of the students. I think its the worst thing in my course was this only.
No labs were provided which is the most important part of Bsc as well as Masters but we got the lab in last semester but still there was so much chaos that it was really hard to do the experiments because of all that. Labs should be provided.
The faculty is not serious at all most of the teachers are partial and only give priority to the students who are literal teachers pet and the students who are actually hardworking get a hard time there in completing there stuff.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was okay but they changed the whole thing in the middle first off they told us that we can leave after bsc then they changed the whole thing and kind of trapped us in a 5 year programme with no notice i mean s They should've made it clear in the starting only but now i think they have made it clear!! But the syllabus is really weird i mean it wont help you much in future... In my pov because you have to STUDY everything on your own again.

BBAU IS A CENTRAL UNIVERSITY AND IT IS NAAC A++ ACCREDITED WITH 3.74 POINTS. I AM DOING BTECH WITH CSE HERE! THE CAMPUS LIFE IS VERY GOOD HERE! BEAUTIFULL CAMPUS WITH 250+ ACRES ARE! IT HAS 24/7* FULLY AC LIBRARY

THE FACULTY AND STAFF HERE ARE NON PERMANENT! ITS LABORARTY ARE NOT IN A GOOD CONDITION

BBAU HAVE PLACEMENT AND TRAINING UNIT :- IT CIRCULATE DETAILS OF COMPANY THAT ARE OFFERING PLACMENTS AND INITERSHIP BUT THE DRAWBACK IS ALL COURSES CAN SIT TOGETHER AND DO INTERVIEW FOR PLACEMENT! AVG PLACEMENTS ARE 5 LPA

Nature , peace and the standard of living is good . The professors of BBAU and teachers of BBAU are supportive and caring

Dislikes

The managemnet of BBAU is very bad , i dont know about other department , the manage of BBSU is bad , but study and all are good

The college lab have well and equipped instruments for use.
Gym and library facility are awesome. Every month competition also organized by university
Teachers are very supportive and helpfull

Dislikes

Sometime there was traffic jam in collage near places by which students comes late .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bsc hons geology course is very Good .and in these course student have many opportunitie after completing their course . They give exam like GSI , INOCl , Upsc Geologist, and IIT JAM . Timing of exam is 3 hours .

TRUTH OF BBAU CENTRAL UNIVERSITY

Likes

The college has a good infrastructure that you rarely found in any colleges in Lucknow
University have a diversity and people's from all over India
The faculty is very well educated and it's also in one of the top colleges in India

Dislikes

The college has more than 50 percent reservation
University is good but there is no societies like music , dance etc
Although every college have college politics but in this college there is caste politics which is very wrong

Placement Experience:

See there are many companies that come to college every year but I would say that the packages are not satisfactory in figures but yes you can get placement from University it actually depends upon you if you have good cv then some of the students also grabbed 8 lack + packages

Life at BBAU

Likes

The faculty is very good, well mannered and helping
The campur is very neat and clean and also very huge.
The environment and the crowd is very nice.

Likes

Infrastructure of university is very good
Helping faculties and was very gentle and hrlpful in academic also
Fully centralized AC library opened 24 hrs

Dislikes

No placement after b.sc in geology yes but here scope of microbiology is good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically curriculum comes from UGC itself and the professor had to follow and they teach us according to the curriculum only and they complete syllabus before time so we get much tim e for preparation of semester

BBAU- A CENTRAL UNIVERSITY from my lens

Likes

Central Library is very nice and it gives a very healthy environment for study.
Sports ground and overall campus is very good vibes.
Lush green campus and academic environment

Dislikes

There no such facilities for disabled students
There is less number of seats in library study rooms
There is less faculty in many departments

There is is 6 semester and every semester we have to give presentation on a particular subject then we need to give mid sem and finally end semester examinations. There is less focus on the personality development in examination process

Likes

I like the canteen facilities and parking areas
I like the classroom facilities like projectors and white board
I like the laboratories because every a professors have their own laboratories their self laboratories and their own expenditures and funds on their laboratories

Dislikes

I do not like the online mode of education in lockedown

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course 9 out of 10 because the syllabus and curriculum provided by the department was very much specific and concise and briefly explained by the professor. Each and every credit course was well defined and evaluated by the faculty. The curriculum prepares me well for the real world applications in terms of research, practically. The curriculum prepares me well in further academics pursuits like research analyst, researchers. The improvement should be in the teaching method like it should be fully explained in terms of practical and evaluation.
