BHU: Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 2 Reviews

Admission to the MBA program at BHU in 2020 requires passing a competitive entrance exam, with timely application submission and meeting eligibility criteria being crucial. The total course fee for the two-year program is Rs. 110,000, with an annual cost of Rs. 50,000. Scholarships are available through both UP and national programs, making the course more affordable. Campus placements are available for 4th semester students, with companies like ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, HUL Limited, MRF, and Dabur participating.

Typically, 70-80% of students find placements through campus recruitment, though the COVID-19 pandemic has reduced the number of companies visiting for placements and internships. ICICI Bank recently offered internships to 7 students with a stipend of Rs. 14,000. Students often find internships independently via platforms like Internshala.com, with 30-35% securing internships annually. The program also includes a 100-mark project in the second semester. Limited hostel accommodations are available, supporting only 3 to 4 students, which increases living costs.

Scholarships are accessible through central and UP state government programs, with additional loan options available for students from Bihar. Overall, 30-35% of students, including those in the Ph.D. program, secure placements through campus opportunities.
