Galgotias University Greater Noida Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Truly speaking, the placement record for MBA students, engineering students were too good. But since I opted for BA in Journalism and Mass communication, the placement record of my department was not so good. Even we went for an interview program on our own. Hardly 8-10 students got placed from our batch and the highest package offered was 2 LPA. Also, the number of companies that visited our campus was 10-15 among which were some event management companies, TCI, Naukri.com, and others. Further, after posy completion of my undergraduate, I started working rather than going for higher studies.

Campus placement is quite good and satisfactory opportunities are given to students, companies visit like Amazon, TCS, Wipro and many more. From 3rd year students get eligible for campus placement and this time despite of COVID 19 pandemic placement was around 85%.

Students can be eligible for internships and campus placements since their third year. A lot no. of companies visit like Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant and many more. Both service and product based companies visit and there is a great opportunity of being placed. Like this time despite of the COVID -19 pandemic around 85% students are placed.

The college has the highest no of placements in our college we have recruiters like Paytm, Infosys, Vishal mega mart, Wipro, HCL, Amazon, policy Bazar, Supertech limited, Byjus, fare eye oppo, cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Birla soft and many more. the highest package which was given to the student is INR 1240000 and the average salary package is 386000.

Almost every student from our course got placed. The lowest salary package offered here is 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant and TCS are the top recruiting companies for our course.

Many Students get placed from On-campus Placements In companies Like WIPRO, TCS, Infosys, and many others. In 2019 67% of MCA students get placed, 83.8% of BTECH students get placed In companies on an Average package of 4.35 lacs.

The average package of BBA is around 4 lakhs per annum while the highest is 8 lakhs per annum. University has a placement rate of around 90 per cent. Giants like Botmock Amazon Wipro Infosys TCS and Amazon came participated in the university's placement drive. I am planning to do masters after my graduation

The place of our college is so attractive which attracted me as well in choosing the college. After the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Right now the highest package according to me was 25 lakh per annually which was grabbed by on cse student and the average package is 3-4 lakhs per annually. The placement percentage is around 60-70%.

Galgotias University provided me the course of my interest i.e., CSE (Computer Science & Engineering). The campus infrastructure is really good, academic & research support is also pretty good and the institute actually provides 100% placement assistance. The online admission portal became active during May 2016. I applied through their website and entered my details. There were two categories of application - 1) Admission through GEE (Galgotias Entrance Examination), which according to every student is very easy to crack2) Direct admission considering your score in boards and JEEI got direct admission in the field of my interest and kept it as backup while applying for others colleges as well. Unfortunately, I didn't get call from many colleges. Those who did, were not offering CSE. So, I had to go with my backup. In July 2016, i decided to complete joining formalities and went to the institute. To my interest what i got to know is that the so-called campus 1 of Galgotias University, which is located near knowledge park 2 metro station, pari chowk is not actually a part of University itself. Campus 1 is actually affiliated to AKTU while Galgotias University campus 2, near Buddh International Circuit (which is 15km away from pari-chowk) is Deemed. But since they are both a part of Galgotias private institutions so they can you any of the campuses for their resource utilisation.Since i did not give AKTU entrance examination so, I only had option to get admission at Campus 2. After completing joining formalities, i went to visit campus 2 where i had to spend my next 4 years. The place looked good from the outside. It constitutes of 4 buildings in total namely A block, B block, C block and D block (which is boys' hostel and mechanical workshop at ground floor). Out of these, C block was under construction. Other blocks looked good from the inside too. There is a cafeteria as well which consists of some good brands like Italian bistro. All classrooms have projector systems installed. There are separate auditorium halls and specialized labs. Every classroom has AC setup but it works occasionally. The academic session started from September 2016. They had a prepaid academic calendar for completion of year 1 on time and was followed up pretty strictly. Professors are really supportive and helpful. Apart from academics extracurricular facilities are also there, which i can say are just satisfactory. I joined basketball team in year 1 and went to a few tournaments but always faced issues when it came to requesting

Campus placements are really good. They do not really offer 100% placement but the companies that visit are good including MNCs like Cipla, alembic, etc. The percentage of the students is 40% in my program this year and students are eligible to sit in the placements in the final year of their course. My plan is to start up my own business.
