GBPUAT B.Tech Food Technology Fees
B.Tech Food Technology at GBPUAT is a self-financing programme. The total fee comprises the standard university routine fee plus an additional programme fee of Rs. 1,00,000 per annum. For the 2026-27 session, the total fee payable at the time of first-year admission (including the one-time admission fee, annual fee, and semester fee) is Rs. 57,164 per semester (first year), with the programme fee charged separately. The food advance of Rs. 20,000 per semester is charged additionally and is adjusted against actual mess expenses. Below is the detailed fee structure:

- The one-time admission fee of Rs. 4,250 is paid only once at the time of joining.
- Food advance of Rs. 20,000 per semester is refundable/adjustable against actual mess expenses.
- Caution money of Rs. 2,500 is refundable at the time of leaving the university.
- For TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) seat holders, the total fee is Rs. 32,164 (first year), as the programme fee is waived.
- At the time of reporting after UTU counselling, students must deposit Rs. 47,164 (after deducting Rs. 10,000 already paid at UTU) as college fee, plus Rs. 1,000 as non-refundable reporting fee.
- Payment seats carry an additional programme fee of Rs. 50,000 per semester (for Other State candidates on payment seats).
- EMI or instalment options are not officially mentioned; fees are to be paid via demand draft at the time of reporting.
- Educational loans are available through the State Bank of India Scholar Loan Scheme at reduced interest rates without collateral.
